Took a break from grow-diaries for my last grow, now i have returned for another grow documentation featuring some new breeders. Will likely be starting with some targeted lst shortly. As you can tell there is a discrepancy between the germinations of these plants - one started early, one started late, and two ‘interior’ timed ones being pretty similar. Silver lining there is that the sativa dom is the youngest, which helps when accounting for stretch. Planning to end these up in 5 gallon buckets with as few liquid nutrients as i can manage! going for big buds and top-shelf quality, cheers

lst’d necessary plants, almost time to adjust the climate control of the grow room that the tent ventilates to/from. All plants are growing without issue. Letting them eat from the nute packed soil and giving them root stims to cultivate a healthy and dense network. Cheers

Transplanted into fresh 5 gallon buckets filled with good ol Ocean Forest soil, then applied another round of lst for all accept the bubble, who may be too far behind as well as sativa dominant to require it. Its leaves definitely look hybrid in appearance, so it hopefully won’t prove too tricky to grow, and offer me access to a nice sativa terpene profile. Transplanting from the previous buckets revealed thick root networks throughout the soil, proving to me the effectiveness of rapid start in noticeably speeding up this process. While the plant does not grow faster at first, it is devoting its energy to establishing a top notch root system. Climate control is now in use in the grow room in order to maintain more ideal temperatures, but as always my tent seems to run frustratingly hot. This is something I will look into remedying but perhaps I may have to accept a lower standard wattage for better bud quality at the expense of a bit of yield. If you read all this then cheers to you 🍻 stay lifted

Rate of growth on these girls has been starting to accelerate. I decided to lst the lemon bubble, which seems to be receptive to the technique for what I’m led to believe is sativa dominant. I was able to source some Mycorrhizae which i’m excited to study the effects of on my plants’ healths. I’ve also decided to supplement a bit of Calmag this week as ive found that certain strains can sometimes get calcium deficient around this time. as of now I think i’ll veg for as long as my grow space will allow. Cheers once again

Plants have reached the stage where I’ll start to pursue taking cuttings for clone, which I will be putting into a separate veg tent with a 100w Sunlike LED. All plants seem to be dialed in pretty well, some slight tip burn showing on some leaves, as well as remote leaves with concentrated PH-based deformities, which means I may need to be even more consistent in my watering PH, although for the most part the effect seems limited and not greatly effecting development. Canopy’s starting to come together in a way that suggests that the switch to flower may be starting to draw closer. cheers!

Probably will be taking clones this week or next, then considering starting the switch after that point. No major developments to note, besides that of plain old development. May even apply some tactical defoliation in not too much longer. Love seeing the plants starting to get bigger, though since growth accelerates with time, the Lemon Bubble has been getting left in the dust a bit. The tent still should end up with a filled out canopy, so all is right in the grow room. Cheers to another week of veg, got ourselves a beautiful flower stage in the making.

skipped a week due to busy-ness, but back again with an update. the canopy has filled out pretty much entirely, and I decided to switch over to 12/12 at this point. Along with this, I applied a round of moderate defoliation to expose as many budsites to light as possible, as well as to encourage air circulation. I also pruned many of the lower nodes on the plants, in an attempt to minimize larf come harvest time. While doing so, i took two clones from each plant in an attempt to perpetuate a fraction of this grow for another iteration. Finally my watering rate has increased, and I have begun to supplement Snow Storm Ultra for extra resin and a stimulated growth rate due to the alfalfa derivative within. Looking into sourcing some active compost for top-dressings, as the momentum of this grow is beginning to accelerate. Cheers!

Was away from the plants most of last week, and the plants did great on the autowatering system that i got a few years ago for this purpose. been watering generously since returning. the canopy is really starting to fill out and upward, and i top-dressed all of the pots with compost for an added burst of nutrients. installing a new ac in the grow tent room today, which should allow me to lower the temps in the grow tent a bit more. cheers

will probably reapply compost again soon as the mighty grape is needing more nutes to accommodate its vigorous growth rate. If that doesn’t add enough i’ll have to reluctantly reinvest in some liquid nutes. also adding in calmag again as i’m noticing the plants may have a magnesium deficiency beginning to manifest. Flowers starting to form, environment and nute balance is the name of the game at this stage. My added ac unit’s contribution to the tent is noticeable, but I still have to run my lights a little low with how close the flowers have gotten to the light. Given all this, i remain stoked to see the final results emerge. cheers

lack of liquid ferts that the compost can’t match has resulted in some deficiencies, especially in the looming Mighty Grape. Seems like N and maybe PK or cal/mag, the leaves are slowly regreening from the compost seeping through the pots. For now i’ll be redressing with compost indefinitely and looking into bottled nutrients if the need becomes inarguably clear. Nonetheless the flowers are as of yet unimpacted and look pretty decent so far. Ain’t no golden road without a few potholes, cheers

cautiously optimistic as the buds are looking very nice despite questionable de-coloration and clawing of some leaves. my environment is dialed in well and I’m keeping a close eye on the plants this week in case further action becomes warranted (such as investing in some more biobloom). cheers

we have some nice flowers happening here, the plants are super strong in smell, and super firm at each sparkling cola top. Definitely have some leaf damage due to most likely nute ratios being a bit off, but the flowers are staying pristine thanks to their sacrifice. While not perfect, this could still give my best quality and quantity results to date. only time and toil will prove whether or not that will happen. cheers

bit rushed for the update today but figured i’d throw out some late flower eye candy before proceeding with my harvest one plant per week starting next week. spring water auto irrigation only for this week if you have been keeping up with this diary, you may recall i took clones of these plants for my next grow. I’m happy to report that every strain has successfully rooted, though i may switch one out for a new strain yet to be grown by me. cheers

this strain responds well to training and indoor grow spaces, seems robust and resistant enough to be worth a try outdoors as well. this freebie was a great experience, and was the largest plant in my grow by a notable margin. cheers

this pheno was covered with resin, with plenty of snow covered sugar leaves, so this strain could definitely be good a source of sativa hash oil. medicinal potentials include migraines, depression, and fatigue
