She doubled in size this past week. Was pretty happy about that. Finally breaking 5 nodes.. Actually she was nearly into 6 so I topped her as planned. Straight to 3rd node and defoliated everything below aswell. As my plan from the beginning was to manifold. Looks like she took it well as I performed the ungodly act last night when I returned home from spending the weekend at my girlfriends house and this morning she looked all perky and ready to start producing for me. ๐
Suffice it to say, Its a little nerve racking chopping your perfectly healthy little girl into one little piece. Kind of goes against all of your instinct and intuition.
Anyway I digress...
Her stalk looks super healthy she has recently begun to have the faintest suspicion of stank, lol, so I believe all is well. Ive been debating on how many times I want to top her... hmmmmmmmmm...
(to be continued)

Looking good. If you decide to go the fluxing route, you only top the plant once. Im fluxing a plant now (journal not here) and its a very controlled way to grow. Probably how I will grow from now on.
Good luck with your grow and I am gonna pull up a chair, spark one up and enjoy watching the grow :)
@chopdoc,
Sweet! Well thank you for correcting my misguided knowledge/notion of what is. I appreciate it. Its all a learning experience for me. I have been growing for 15+ years off and on but I constantly learn something new almost every day so Thank you again for helping me out.
I will be following your grow to see how she turns out... **EDIT** I see you actually have not posted or started a new grow. All of your grows are past, already harvested... ๐ข๐
I guess I will have to try the correct way to flux on my next grow!
Do you have or know of a strain that is particularly good with fluxing?
Happy Growing sir!

@XpectResistance, Topping and then topping some more is a form of manifolding but its not fluxing. With fluxing you top only once. This will create two main branches that you grow flat. From thse two branches will form nodes that will grow out and be cola/bud sites. They too will form nodes as they grow out but those you cut off where each small branch coming from the main branch only has one cola/bud site on the end. The theory is the plant will send tons of energy to the ends of both main branches therefore giving each cola/bud site before the main one all the energy it can want while the main bud is telling the plant to send more and more. This is suppose to make all the buds pretty much the same size as the main bud come harvest time.
A guy named light addict on 420 magazine forum came up with the fluxing method and has tutorials over there if you want to read up on it. My current grow I am fluxing with a twist. As of this morning I had 45 cola/bud sites and will flip to flowering when she hits 60.
@chopdoc,
Really?
The way it was explained to me is you keep topping and LSTing till you get the desitired number of flower sites, no?
Thanks for your insight. Especially if I am doing something wrong, would def. wanna know for sure.
Xpect, my current grow is same place as light addicts journals are. My next grow I am planning on doing here as a soil/fluxing grow.
As to the strain that works best with fluxing, Im not sure. I think any indica non auto would be good for fluxing. I seen a guy try to flux an auto but you just dont have enough time in veg to properly train the plant.
You are not too late to flux this grow. Actually your at the perfect beginning to flux. Up to you if you want to get into that intense of plant training yet. Manifolding the way you planned is also a good way to grow. My last grow which is on here I grew that way. I ended up with around 170 grams dried buds from growing that way. Its my crown royale journal.
i dont hate anything......................im too lazy for it..........................but i like ur plants..................maybe too much construction for my taste but so HEALTHY
