Minor defoliation.
One thing about this plant is the nute solution drops in pH. 3rd week in a row where the pH was in the low 5s. It's not from her drinking more water than nutes because the ppms were only 450. So she's eating more nutes than water.
She must be excretion an acidic waste product into the water solution. She's the only plant in the tent that has this happening.
Overall she looks really good. Some slight marbling on the leaves but I think this is related to the pH drops. I am thinking of starting her at like 6.3pH since she seems to drop the pH instead of raising it.
She has preflowers showing now. Buds starting soon. The pH is still drifting to around 5.1 even after a complete water change. So I put the pH at 6.4 now and let her float it down. This is the only plant I've grown where tye pH goes down even though the ppm is the same after she drinks.
6/12 - I did a rez change and lowered EC to 1.2 to see if the pH will stabilize.
Defoliated her a bit. Removed branches and leaves from the bottom half today (pics were before lollipopping)
Lowered nutes to 600 as the EC and ppm were going up when she was drinking. Now it's more stable.
Definitely a sativa dominant. Larger internodal spacing and thin fan leaf fingers.
Brothers Grimm strains continue to be bangerz. She's starting to get really smelly and she's pushing herself in mid flower. Looking forward to these colas filling in the next few weeks.
Lots of white pistils on these sticky buds.
I've gotten the hang of the weird pH swings on her. Weird thing is rez smells like dirt but the roots have no rot. There's a couple spots brown but it's not slimy.
Other than that she's filling in nicely with white pistils galore.
More defoliation to get light to lower
She's starting to get pretty smelly. It seems sweet and citrusy. Her pistils are turning now and still swelling. Feed is moderate still. She's drinking about 3/4 gal a day.
Just topping off for now but a rez change is due. Still a lot of pistils haven't turned yet so I'll keep her going. She's swelling up nicely. Some smaller branches having issues supporting the top buds weight. Most are tied up or arranged to stay up.
Looking beautiful 😍
Brothers Grimm shows again their genetics are excellent. She swelled up nicely covered in resin filled trichromes. High calyx to leaf ratio. Trimming will be easy.
Can't wait to try her out.
