My Dutch Passion Auto Orange Bud Grow Diary: Week 3
The third week with my Dutch Passion Auto Orange Bud has been a period of growth and attentive care. Here’s a summary of the week’s activities:
Growth and Training: The plant continued to show improvements, growing from 14.5cm to 22cm. I utilized Low Stress Training (LST) and defoliation methods to encourage the development of the side nodes, which contributed to the plant’s overall growth.
Watering and Nutrition: I watered the plant twice with approximately 400ml of water each time, along with Hesi SuperVit, to provide essential nutrients. However, I noticed a bit of yellowing on the leaves, which is often a sign of nutrient deficiency. To address this, I added an additional watering session with Bio Canna Vega and Bio Canna Rhizotonic, aiming to correct the nutrient balance and improve the plant’s health.
Reflection: This week has been about responding to the plant’s cues and providing it with the necessary care to thrive. The yellowing leaves were a reminder to stay vigilant and adapt my approach to meet the plant’s changing needs. With the adjustments made, I’m hopeful for continued healthy growth in the weeks ahead.
Week 3 has been a learning experience, reinforcing the importance of observation and quick action in response to signs of stress. The progress of my Auto Orange Bud is encouraging, and I’m looking forward to nurturing it further on this cultivation journey. 🌿
