If you look at picture 8 above and zoom in on the lower left corner you can see a whitish structure that looks like a cat claw. What is that?

Hi there!! Take a closer look is it like this? https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/closeup-example-of-herm-cannabis-banana.jpg To me it looks like a "nanner" or banana. Copied from the net: What are they? Bananas are actually the exposed “male” parts of a pollen sac, called the “stamen” which would normally be surrounded by a sac to hold all the pollen until it bursts open. If you open up a fully formed male pollen sac, you will see what looks like bananas (stamens) inside. But when bananas appear on your plants, they don’t need to “burst” in order to spread pollen, they will immediately start making pollen and often will seed the buds that are close by even if bananas are removed right away, and sometimes the pollen can drift to other plants and pollinate them as well, too. It’s possible that the pollen is sterile, and won’t pollinate bud successfully…but don’t rely on that happening! What causes it? While genetics are ultimate the cause of whether a plant is capable of producing bananas and mixed-sex buds, environmental stress is often a big component in causing bananas to form. Luckily if you stick with high-quality genetics, you are much less likely to run into bananas even if you do accidentally stress your plants. Not all bananas are “fertile” and you may see them without ever getting seeds. - https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/male-plants-hermies-bananas

Week 17. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Cut branches, wet trimmed, and dried 6 days in tent on hangers. Buds cut off branches and put in turkey bag with humidity range of 60-65% and burped thrice daily. Jarred with 62% boveda in quart masons after two weeks in the turkey bag. Popcorn buds were 46 g of the 155 total. All the popcorns decarbed on a cookie sheet enclosed in a turkey bag(really cut down on smell) 45 min at 240 degrees. Crushed up buds and immersed into a quart of mct oil in a mason jar in a crock pot filled with water at low setting overnight. Strained into a fresh mason jar and got about 25 liquid ounces which should be about 20-30 mg per teaspoon for a total of 150 1tsp “doses”. Smoke is super smooth after curing with that berry and cheesey flavor. Great mellow body high that you feel in your stomach and chest.

The plant ended up quite squatty but nearly filled the scrog screen but had to veg for a long time to get there. Started seeing some bananas near the end here and there which hasn’t happened before but this was the first time growing this strain. I added 45 min of uv light from the California light works unit in the last 3 weeks. Maybe this stressed it out a bit and got the male parts because of the uv? Buds really plumped up in the last two weeks. Really stinky plant!

@MissLemon, It’s called the scrogger. Look it up online. Has wheels on the bottom so you can spin the plant around. Very nice and reusable
