- Started my Low Stress Training on 03.05 by topping and defoliation of the lower leaves
- Plan was to have 2 main stems on each plant but while mainlining I broke one of the main stems of King's Kush
- I quickly used a rubber band to fix it and waited for 2 days but had no luck
- So I removed the defected stems and had only one main line left as in the classical method
- This created a lot of stress on King's Kush, causing stunt growth but it started recovery after 3 days by developing new leaves. Not ideal look though.
- Chemical Bride seems to handle it better since there has been no accident etc.
- Also increased my light intensity to 70% on 06.05 which translates to 63% in SanLight Led Lamps considering first 20% is equal to 0%. I know that it's weird but as a side not, finding that out so late slowed my growth.
- I have also increased the light distance to 65 cm on the same day.
- I have also started GreenHouse Bio Enhancer on 04.05 which helps root development and I plan to apply it every 2 weeks until Harvest.
- On 08.05, I started to observe downward Clawing at one of leaf tips of Chemical Bride. According to my research, there are 3 possible reasons: Nutrient Burn, Over Heating or Over Watering. I do not believe that it is a nutrient burn so I stick to Option 2 and 3. In line with that diagnosis, I am planning to increase the light distance to 70 cm and to shifting the watering cycle to every 3 days instead of 2 days.
- No Nutrients added yet because I still believe in my all mix soil. The Plan is to start with GreenHouse BioGrow Powder in reduced portion in Week 6 and then start feeding GreenHouse BioBloom Powder beginning of Flowering at Week 7 or 8.
- Temp fluctuated between 21 & 30 Celcius which might be the potential reason for clawing. This week I am trying to stabilize it by increasing the running time for AC during daytime and limiting at nighttime.
- VPD fluctuated between 0,4 and 1.4 kPa in Week 4. Ideally it should be around 0,8 - 1.1. I am also trying to stabilize it by adjusting the runtimes of the humidifier.
- On 08.05, I started using yellow stick bands for insect prevention.
