Krisisanswered grow question 5 months ago Any leaf that you remove that could receive light is less energy the plant can make from absorbing light.. this will equal less bud production. They are your solar panels.
The only time I’d recommend removing them is if you have very dense leaves and humidity issues, and/or bottom of plant.
You can always try tucking or bending leaves out of the way.
Lollipopping the bottom isn’t terrible as that gives airflow and most of those leaves won’t get light. They do still help feed the plant though.
I’d just say- have a reason to remove a leaf. Don’t just remove it to remove it :)
