Light: Viparspectra v600 600w (280W Real Pull; 140W Flowering LEDs, 140W Vegetation LEDs ~ 280W Full spectrum)
Grow Area: 90x60x120 cm
Pots: 2 x 25L Airpots
Soil: Biocanna Bio Terra Plus
Using only Canna Nutrients.
Started of by soaking the seeds for 18h in water, than they were placed in a wet paper towel to germinate. After 24h they were placed directly in the pots.
This is my first grow ever, so if you have any suggestions write 'em down :)
Update: Slightly increasing Rhizotonic every few days, started from 0,5ml now at 1ml.
Day 7 - added 1ml Terra Vega
Day 11 - Fed 1 ml/L Rhizo & Terra Vega + 0,5 ml/L Cannazym
Day 14 - Fed 1ml/L Rhizo & Cannazym + 2 ml/L Terra Vega
I've noticed something on my leaves on Royal Bluematic, not sure if something is eating it or somekind of deficiency. I've been spraying with Mildew Protection Spray.
Some leaf deformation appearing on the Quick One also?
Day 23 - Turned on the flowering lights so they can get more light..
They are starting to get bushy, I'll start with LST this week.
Day 25 update - Started LST
Getting a slight light burn to the top leaves, not much.
Day 28 update - They are responding well to LST, growing nicely, not so much stretching tho
Any comments?
Day 31 - Started adding Flowering nutes, I'll start reducing Veg nutes throught this week or so..
Day 33 - Starting to see her stretch a bit
Day 34 - They have grown 5 cm in 3 days
After the comments I've decided to let them grow without defoliation. I did remove a few leaves tho, and the rest I'm just tucking in and trying to get as much light at the stem as I can.

Hey there Chef! With autoflowering its important to know that the plant will flower when she feels its most advantageous and it doesn't matter on the light cycle. Because of this I suggest extra care when doing any forms of stressing to the plant. Defoliation right now will cause the plant to take energy from its stretch and that is not ideal. I highly suggest weaving the larger fan leaves underneath the new growth nodes to promote most of the growth into the flowering nodes as opposed to defoliation at this stage. 😎
Stretching like crazy, she grew almost twice the size since the start of flowering... Buds are popping slowly, she seems healthy.
Royal Bluematic is showing some purple on the buds and on the leaf tips, probably because of lower temperatures..

Okay so I was out for a couple of days, luckily nothing big happened. Came back to a little bit of fungus gnats I think.. She grew more than I expected, the higher buds grew up to 15-20 cm from LEDs so a little bit of light burn, not much. The buds are starting to pack up slowly. I think Royal Bluematic doesn't like the higher humidity too much, trying to lower it down as best as I can. Quick One starting to pop some sugar leaves also overgrew her buddy.
They do have some undergrow, is it okay to cut it off now or is it too late?

Quick One is growing really nicely, looks like she'll be done before her friend. They have had a couple of days of night temp at around 15*C and day temp 18*C so might have affected the purple color they're starting to take. Leaves on the Quick One are starting to get yellow from bottom up slowly, not so much on the Royal Bluematic. Stems on Quick One are nice and thick, do you think they're gonna fatten up more on the Royal Bluematic?
Just curious what is that P,K deficiency or what?
Day 63 - I fed them 2 days ago, that was last feeding for the Quick One and I'll start flushing her...Interesting colors

What do you think how much longer for the Quick One, around 2, 3 weeks? I was thinking of feeding her one more time in the next couple of days and then start to flush. Do you have any guesses on the yield of Quick One?
Also curious to what that deficiency is showing on the leaves
last question first : you have run of the mill potassium deficiency (K- deficiency) you can tell from the exterior of the leaves turning first and the coloring happening. Easy to fix that : keep adding PK and the booster, which is just amino acids that help turn the P/K into something the plant can use. Even though you're adding PK you're still seeing deficiencies, so you can up the dose, why? because the plant is so well tuned in that it's growing faster than expected. So now for the first question : this Quick One is gonna become a Fat One in the next 2/3 weeks, i would give her a chance to buff tf up as much as possible, i'm leaning more towards 3 weeks than 2 weeks just for that reason. And for your final question : pretty sure you can expect 70grams dry per plant ! The only way to really tell how she's doing though is to check the trichomes with a 40x + magnifier regularly and try to figure out the pace at which she's ripening up. hope this helps, Chef ! 🚀
Starting to flush the Quick One, she got some weight in the pasts few days and Royal Bluematic is also following. I'll be feeding Royal Bluematic one more time than I'll start to flush it as well. Really happy how they've grown. :)
Quick One is packing a strong citrus somewhat fruity smell, beautiful.
Day 68 update - Flushed Quick One.. ( ~50L tap water, than poured another ~6L of tap water that has been sitting for one day or so... I'm only watering with tap water, no PH up or down since the beginning of the grow. My tap water PH is around 7 )
I'll flush the Royal Bluematic in a few days. :)
Day 73 update - lowered the LEDs from 35cm from the main cola to ~28 cm...
Royal Bluematic is starting to give out a weak smell, and her buddy is starting to smell like crazy. :))
Day 74 update - Reduced light scheldue to 18h
Day 75 update - Flushed Royal Bluematic
Day 77 - you can see the Quick One is starting to get cloudy, I'll leave it for another week we will see; Royal Bluematic is probably gonna go 2 more weeks

The Quick One is gonna get 2 more days of dark, than she will be dried. The Royal Bluematic is now solo in the closet and I think she will enjoy the solo tanning for another week or so, she really has a lot of leaves.
Day 86 update - Did a little bit of LST on Royal Bluematic so I can expose as much of the branches as I can now that she has more room + more light (also lowered the lights as there is less space that needs to be covered);
Day 88 update - I think Royal Bluematic likes the space it's got now, I'll give it a few more days

Great strain to start with, didn't have much problems with it. She liked the environment, and didn't mind the lower temps or the occasional higher humidity. She showed some beautiful colors, really happy how she turned out :)
@CRiSPrGrow, And yes, they both are getting fatter. After the last fed I gave them a few days ago they have exploded, I increased the P/K and the Flowering nutes a little bit. Question, do they continue to fatten up until harvest or do they stop at some point, after a few days or so?
Well what a grow from start to finish... I really enjoyed looking through that. I have 10 quick ones at the minute I think I am going to struggle.... I have 3 led lights in a 4x4 god knows how there gonna fit when they pack out .... feel free to check my 2nd ever grow thanks man happy growing
@chef600, I am using vipar 600w and the meihzi 600w mate I have disposed of the other 3 it was going to cause problems I have 7 now in 7 litre pots see what I can achieve

They seem preety happy so far, looking good. Remember to give them as much time as they need, don't rush anything. It will pay off trust me, the smoke is amazing and they can put off some weight... Good luck with your grow!! :))
The flowering nodes on your plants look to be absolutely amazing. You've done such an amazing job with this grow so far and I'm so excited to see how these plants finish up as well as to hear how they smoke. Best wishes my friend :D

if you're pulling 270 from the wall then you shouldnt divide that by two and count only the flowering watts simply because you used more watts actually namely 270, it's just easier to understand that way.
@chef600, read a credible study basically proving that specific spectrum matters for nothing only average spectrum really matters, so for sure only flower would have reduced the grow infact more than only veg - because why? because of average spectrum. On the other hand there is very interesting research on far red spectrum - and intensity doesnt matter on that one 15 minutes every so often during lights on and 15 minutes before lights on and after lights off. ... check out gznalite.com i'm getting those after chinese new years lol
@CRiSPrGrow, True man, true. I think it does affect the grow, and that I would have gotten smaller buds if I had only used the flowering lights. But than again, maybe Royal Bluematic wouldn't have gotten so bushy. Would be fun to test out the difference, leaving one plant to flower under the flowering lights only, and the other with the full spectrum. Idk, we'll leave the question to be answered by someone who has more time and better conditions. Was a fun grow all in all, I wanna thank you one more time for all of your help.

hey @chef600 you want to wait another week so she's halfway through her stretch before you defoliate or risk shocking her or worse making her make more leaves. A lot of people defoliate but actually plants are very good at sharing energy correctly throughout the plant, one of the reasons is you can get bigger bud, but actually you're probably better off waiting another few days then seeing which of the flower nodes are going to be too small and pluck them off, so the plant shifts the energy to the large flowers further up the branch - less popcorn bud more fat bud. Hey man looks like you're grow is going well hope you get some good dank! I'm personally using vipar myself but I just wanted to say your viparspectra v600 pulls actually about 276 watts. So you're only running about half your actual wattage and you should consider this when doing your math on gram per watt.
