6/14/24-
Tent has been flipped to 12/12 and a major defoliation. Plant is 10" high, but lots of horizontal spread, so the flowering stretch will dramatically increase the hight from where it is now, but should leave lots of vertical space in the tent between the canopy and the lights.
- Major defoliation, removed the large old fan leaves and most of the leaves inside the plant or that were touching. Left a "skirt" of leaves around the outside both to keep the plant healthy and so it has some additional leaves left, but also as a bit of an "early warning system" in case there are any nutrient or stress issues.
- After the defoliation, you can see the plant structure with the mainline much more clearly (see before and after pics)
- Slight modification to feed, but going to keep with a feed schedule of 2 days of feed then 1 day of water. Will adjust based on runoff values.
- Runoff pH and PPM at 5.9 and 554 respectively
- Other tent conditions stable
6/16/24
Smooth sailing into flower, plant is starting to stretch, picking up about 1" per day. Filling back in after defoliation, but still plenty of light and air penetration.
- Water feed schedule is now 2 days of feed then 1 day of plain water
- Runoff pH and PPM at 5.9 and 631 respectively
- Tent conditions stable, though humidity is slightly ticking up as the leaves come back in
- Plant continues to take about .75 gal of water per watering with around 10% runoff
6/18/24
The stretch keeps rolling and the plant has confirmed that it's female. Four days after the defoliation for the flip, and it's almost completely filled back in, so doing well and rolling on!
- Slightly bending some of the stems to keep everything as flat and even as possible
- Continuing with same feed and water schedule, plant is taking up more nutes and water now
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.1 and 645 respectively
- Humidity in tent creeping up as the plant fills back in
- Turned on second fan to keep air moving
5/3/24
- First true leaves are out
- Humidity domes removed
- Light feeding started with General Hydroponics Flora Series
- Plant 1 looking OK
- Plant 2 bouncing back, still smaller than #1, but I'm more optimistic about it given how it looked when it emerged
- Maintaining daytime humidity in the mid 70's (F) and mid 60's (F)
- Humidity at 76% in tent
