8/2/24
Hello, Week 8, you beautiful thing. Getting close to the homestretch, making some minor adjustments in feeding and trying to land this flight smoothly.
- Bud stacking still ongoing, not really any change in color in pistils
- Might be starting to see some minor signs of purple in the buds
- Seeing a little light stress in the upper-most leaves, going to raise the lights by an inch or two to reduce the stress and simulate the fall light fade. Looking very green and healthy on lower leaves.
- Plants still thirsty, continuing to want slightly lower pH water
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.1 and 775
8/4/24
- Fade continuing on the leaves, nothing too significant, but continuing
- Trichomes beginning to cloud up on lower buds
- A few more pistils getting dark, but not many- still the white ones are starting to pull in
- Buds still bulking up
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.0 and 751
8/7/24
- Buds continue to bulk up really nicely
- Seeing some very minor fox tailing on the tops, so reduced the lights very slightly- nothing serious, but want to stay ahead of it
- Some more pistils darkening, but still largely white- starting to pull in more and more
- Not seeing a ton of lavender, but the frost is pretty thick on the buds, so there might be more than there appears to be
- Trichomes on all buds going cloudy, not seeing much if any amber yet
- Nutrient uptake slowing quite a bit, plant still thirsty, but runoff PPM is not dropping very quickly
- Feed scheduled reduced- watering every day, one day of feed, then one day of plain pH water
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.0 and 850
@Realtor_Red, Thanks! Getting close to the end, and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out. Learning some things for the next go, but this one is better than the last, so onward and upward! 😃
5/3/24
- First true leaves are out
- Humidity domes removed
- Light feeding started with General Hydroponics Flora Series
- Plant 1 looking OK
- Plant 2 bouncing back, still smaller than #1, but I'm more optimistic about it given how it looked when it emerged
- Maintaining daytime humidity in the mid 70's (F) and mid 60's (F)
- Humidity at 76% in tent
@Dabking, Thanks so much! This was a fun grow and I learned a lot along the way, I think there are some nice outcomes here. Please do stay tuned- the way Grow Diaries works, it looks like I can't add multiple weeks to document the drying and curing, but I'll keep updating this page as all of that goes along so people can see what the ultimate outcome and results are. Really looking forward to seeing how this one turns out!
@Legendaryseedthumb, Thanks very much! I think it turned out pretty well (we'll see after the dry and cure), but I also learned a lot along the way for the next one. Always trying to get better and get more knowledge. Thanks for checking out my diary!
