Germination: Seed started in water for 48 hours, then transferred to a moist paper towel. After 48 hours, and when the root became about an inch in length, the seed was then transferred to soil

GL. I have just had my BPP auto 'show its head' through the soil. I was about to comment on why mine looked more green with purple than your stalk. It's because you used water to germinate, I'd guess than straight to substrate (soil) as I did. Will you be using any nutrients? If so which?

@JunglistJD, thank you. Yes, I started with water. For nutrients I have bone meal, worm castings, beastie bloomz, and Mother Earth brand 3 stage liquid nutes (micro, grow, bloom). I’m using them sparingly though because I’m way too eager as a new grower haha. Also, the soil I’m using (Mother Earth Terracraft & Groundswell) seems to have plenty of nutrients for a little while. Good luck with your grow as well!
