Only 1 watering with nutes atm. Next watering will have nutes again, still testing the plants to see which can and can't handle lots of it. After transplant, some of them have depleted their original starting small cup rootball and the soil being slow release can't properly feed them. Kritical is germing and will replace one of the eight who came out a mutant with weird leaves and overall poor vigor.
Hey y'all, it's Thursday so time for another update.
Overall sunny week with a couple cloudy days. Temperatures are growing gradually. Vegetative growth keeps going. WT1 and CM1 especially are branching out a lot. Kritical germinated, currently on its day 4. Day 1 it was on a sunny window, after that it's been under direct sunlight for about 5-6 hours a day.
The axial shoots on the very first node of all plants (except Kritical obviously) have been pruned since they wouldn't amount to much. Other seasons I've done HST, LST, lollipopping and defoliation extensively. This season I'm only doing the necessary. Plants will be topped if going above a certain height I don't want them to reach, this of course considering the flowering stretch.
Still testing which plants can handle a lot of nutes and which don't. Cherrizozki seems especially sensible to nutes and is quick to throw a very dark green hue. SSC and WT, on the other side, seem to be big munchers.
Sunrise is at 7:00 am and sunset is at 9:20 pm aprox. and growing. Since the adult ones were planted early and started under an irregular indoor setting, some of them showed very early signs of flowering (preflowers), so they've been under dark cycle interruptions for 1 minute every 3 hours to make sure they're kept in the vegetative phase.
Guess this is all for this week. Here's to another Thursday.
Here's to another Thursday update.
Not much to tell about this week. Kritical's at day 10 today. This week the big ones received another nute watering. They're starting to drink way more, gotta go to the mountain for more mulch material soon. Vegetative growth keeps going, both SSC reacted really well to nutes and are starting to grow more despite being what seems like a short strain. The first two nodes' leaves will be removed soon since they're mostly shaded now and the plants have already taken all the mobile nutes up from them, being now yellow-white. The highest plant, WT1 may be either topped or trained soon so as not to reach certain height I don't want them to.
More next Thursday, cheers.
Another Thursday morning update.
Vegetative keeps going well. Some of them keep branching like mad, SSC1 is really growing up, rivalling WT1 for highest plant in my garden so far. No nute waterings this week, this starting week will have them. Kind of figured already which ones can take lots and which can't. Some defoliation will occur with CM1 and WT1 this week too, since the lower part is kinda jungly already, although as stated on previous weeks, will do it carefully and without going overboard with it. SSC1, CZ1 and WT1 will be either topped or trained this week since they're approaching a no-go height, still giving room for flowering stretch. Critikal is on day 17 today, on its 5th-6th node already. Some day this week a floor cover piece flew up from the wind and fell on it. It damaged the tip of a leave although it keeps growing that tip, will maybe chop that broken tip. The plant did just fine, no big deal.
This is all for this week, more next Thursday.
