Hello Again!
As Germany legalized growing cannabis, im going LARGE.
My plan is to grow huge plants. I don't care about anything else, they just need to be BIG.
I popped 10 Mexican Sativa seeds cause i plan to give the others away.
Regarding the Nana Glue seed: This will go into the tent, check my other report :)
It's Veg day 1 i guess...
The Plants did come up okayish although the sun wasnt that powerful the last week.
No Snails so far, pouring all those slug pellets and adding a border helped as it seems.
The soil is already fertilized for the complete vegetation cycle. I've added 5g per L of soil, which should be plenty until they start blooming.
Veg Week 2, and it keeps on raining!
Week 1 ended with an intervention. As you can see on the last picture, the plant had a somewhat stunted grow. When i replaced #1 with a Seedling i noticed that the roots couldn't penetrate the jiffie net. There was only one root coming out at the bottom.
From now on i will always cut the net when planting, no matter what the manufacturer says.
So yeah, #1 got replaced by a seedling.
Besides that: Nothing to do besides checking for pests, and praying for more sun.
Veg Week 4
Weather is still shitty! The soil was wet all the time, so i had to do something about it, and since i added a small greenhouse tent they look a lot healthier.
Veg Week 5, and the weather is getting a little bit better. Plant #1 shows a very stunted grow. If it was indoor i'd restart with a new plant, but as i don't really have to put any time money and effort in it, i let her do its thing.
Veg Week 6
Weather is still not great, but at least the temperatures seem to be fine. The plants show some nice growth, we will see how it turns out in the next weeks...
Plant #1 has been topped earlier this week as it was behind on height anyways, so i thought we grow this one into a nice little bush.
Last weeks weather was nice, but this week its getting wet and cold again. I don't think they will struggle with it though. Mexican Sativa should be robust enough to take the european summer.
Plant #1 was defoliated as it was topped and the new branches needed the space. We can see early signs of flower, but i can't tell yet which sex the plants have.
