The Auto Sour Diesel is from Barney's Farm, I did have one other strain from them "Sour Strawberry" but it didn't make it far with the other strain. I planted the seeds directly into the soil which is Fox Farm's "OCEAN FOREST POTTING SOIL" blend of aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal. The water I chose was spring water and I watered them the entire first month with just spring water until they formed roots. The seeds were planted Friday March 29th, 2024.

April (Week One)
The plants are growing tall and tall. Three plants have sprouted successfully and look just as healthier than ever. The sour strawberry not so sure, the leaves are still covered or trapped in the shell. However the plant is still growing and getting tall, the stem is green so there’s still hope. I think the Pineapple Express (A) might be the first to finish even though sour strawberry was the first to get above dirt first. I can’t wait to try these !

April (week 2)
Okay slight hiccup but from what I was told it’s fixable. The plants have start to stretch meaning they’re leaning towards the lights. I adjusted the lights evenly and also placed bamboo sticks in to keep the plants upright all but Sour Diesel (A). I read online that the leaves might be too heavy, some of the pics I seen online the plants was buried more deeper in the soil, the leaves were the only thing showing and not the stem or it could be my pot..Going to place more dirt in the pots tomorrow. I also got new equipment, a shovel, three way meter, stakes, and garden ties. They’re still growing so that’s all that matters.

April (Week 3, 21 days)
We lost Sour Strawberry this week but the other plants are still growing strong. Was told to follow advice from experience instead of sources on googles so still going to wait a month to give them nutrients. The roots are still forming and the true leaves are coming in. I must admit I’m proud of the process and see little changes everyday.

April (week 4 & 30 days)
The plants are getting thicker and taller, had a little mold on the bamboo skewer stick so I took all of them out. So now they’re standing tall between the garden ties. Pineapple Express (A) is winning the race for sure. I need to get a fan soon to clear out all the moisture. On Monday they’ll be a month old then it’s time for nutrients.

May (1 month, 5 weeks, 35 days)
We made it ! A month in and the plants are still kicking. I know one of my mutuals said don’t rely on google for everything, but I read the plants need nutrients fed once or twice a week. But I’m going to ask for further confirmation. I think Pineapple Express (A) has 40 more days to go, it looks far more developed than the others. Sour Diesel (A) and Pineapple Chunk are right behind but at their own pace.

I'm starting to smell a little bit of the bud. Also im not sure if i entered the flowering stage but the little smell has to mean im getting close. I clipped the dead leaves off sour diesel and pineapple chunk. But I’m noticing Pineapple Express first two leaves are dying because they’re turning yellowish green. Been doing 1/4 tbsp of nutrients once a week and humidifier for 30 minutes or a hour. I see tiny flowery spikes growing between the stems on all the plants so I guess they are flowering.

Not too much to report, just looking for nuggs since it’s in the flowering stage. The tent definitely smells like weed. But the plants are flowering slowly but how often should I do the nutrients now?

So this diary entry is going be a lil unorganized just showing you guys I got the bigger tent a huge A$$ tent at that, and my Auto Flower Sour Diesel is in its first week flowering. Will fix my entries later for better reviewing.
Hi, I found your blog by chance and would like to give you a lovely tip. I can see that your setup looks really good so far and your blog gets regular updates. Unfortunately, your plants are very tall and have little leaf mass. This means they trying to grow "closer to the sun" to get more intense light. They are very etiolated and simply don't get enough watts from the lamp. You should definitely get at least a 100W full spectrum lamp. Just take a look at the category of popular lamps here in Growdiaries. Your plants must have a lot more leaves in this period of time, because by chance i also upload an Pineapple Express Auto grow on this plattform. Maybe you can still help them uzp with a better lamp, the flowering has not started yet.
Otherwise everything looks great, i wish you lots of fun with your gardening! 🍀
@SourLib, Great! A larger tent definitely makes sense for 3 plants. The better the conditions, the more your plants will grow and produce our wanted juicy buds. Because indoors, the plant is completely cut off from nature. This means that the plant is 100% dependent on us and the setup we provide it with. It will be very grateful for a good lamp. Happy growing!👽
@BlueSugarLeaf, thank you for the awesome tip ! I was curious as to why it hasn’t started yet but now I know I just ordered a bigger tent and now I’ll look into the lights as well 🙏🏾
