Seeds germinated on 10/11/18
3x glueberry og from Dutch passion there will also be a holy punch from green House seed Co growing along side them but will be in a separate diary.
Starting in a 70x70 tent in bio Bizz light mix under a 300W viparspectra led.
Starting pots are about 0.4l.
Misting a few times a day and watering with Canna Rhizotonic.
This grow I will be trying Remo nutrients for the first time.
Really slow start on these seedlings due to poor drainage in the pots I was using and extremely cold temps in my grow room.
Both issues sorted and now back on track, transferred to a 1 litre pot and put a heater in the room.
Not much to see this week, few proper sets of fan leaves now, one plant definitely growing a little slower than the other 2 and it had a slightly deformed set of leaves.
Start of week 4 (9/12/18) and the 3 glueberry og have been repotted in to a 15l pots with bio Bizz all mix.
Looking slightly droopy but will bounce back in a few days time. One of them is still looking a little behind and slightly different leaf structure, probably won't take cuttings from her when the time comes.
I've also moved them in to a larger tent 1m x 1m along side my Holy Punch under a 600w dual spectrum hps light (turned down to 400 at the moment)
Put the 3 glueberry in to the big tent this week under a 400w MH. Seem to be loving it.
Started a bit of LST on the girls to get the light to the lower growth.
Mid week update - have now topped them, was going to give it another week or so but got impatient. Responding well to the LST lower branches catching up with the main stem now.
Topped at the end of last week and shes gone wild bushing out, I've had to defoliate all 3 plants a bit just to help with light penetration.
Looking really healthy and I'm very impressed with Dutch Passion so far.
The tents turning in to a bit of a jungle this week, I've had to take out the autos I've had in along side the glueberry because they are bushing out so much and need the space.
They've gone in to overdrive growth wise this week and have started to get very thirsty.
I've carried on bending tucking and tying when I get chance and the results are lovely short stocky bushes with plenty of tops despite only being topped once.
I've added a 600w Mars hydro led this wake in place of a 300w viparspectra I had in there which has made its way to the auto tent.
I bought myself a scrog net a little while back but never got around to using it so am toying with the idea of putting that in before I flip to flower in the next week or so.
This is the last week of veg before the flip over. Ideally I would of flipped over last week but wanted to get some cuttings done before I did that and have just been way too BUSY. Took a few cuts off each so I'm hoping some root (not my strong suit)
They've gone extremely bushy this week and have really responded well to the LST.
Not really a lot to say this week really just looking forward to the flowering.
End of the 1st week of 12/12 lights, surprisingly little stretch so far.
Have set up a scrog net mid week, I've not used one before so am looking to seeing the results with it. Very even canopy at the minute anyway so I'm hoping for nice even light along all the tops, had a good clear out of the lower leaves and stems this week as well.
Not really a lot to say this week all the action should. Kick off next week.
2nd week of 12/12 and we've got some small buds forming so have introduced flowering nutrients.
The scrog has filled out nicely and there's a lovely even canopy formed, slightly adjusting things most days just trying to maximise the light coverage, not used a scrog net before but certainly starting to see the appeal.
Cleared up the lower half of the plants again this week so they can concentrate on using the energy up top.
All going well, check in again next week.
I've discovered this week my timer that was powering the 600w LED had developed a fault and was turning on roughly an hour early, I thought the glueberry were taking a little while to kick in to full flower now I understand why. Has probably put the grown behind by about 10 days which is a bit annoying but these things happen.
I've taken the 600w led out and replaced it with 2 x 300w leds either side of the hps to spread light more evenly.
End of 4th week of flowering (more like 3rd due to timer fault) and the glueberry is frosting up nicely particularly under the LEDs.
Could do with a little defoliating but I'll probably leave it as I don't like to mess them around much in flowering.
All going nicely, same time next week.
The Glueberry are ticking along nicely.
Buds are starting to bulk up and are super frosty already.
Haven't really had to do anything this week other than remove some yellowing lower leaves and keep the tent clean and tidy.
All going along nicely, not really too much to report which at this stage of the grow is always a good thing.
I've upped the nutrients this week in line with the remo nutrient feeding chart.
The finish line is in sight.
Not too much happening in the tent this week all just ticking along nicely.
Did a little bit of defoliating as ii was getting very bushy.
Roughly 3 weeks to go now.
Things are going very smoothly with the glueberry, 2 out of the 3 are getting nice big buds but the last one seems to have a lot of smaller buds, not looking forward to her come trim time!
Took a few of the larger leaves off this week as they were blocking some flower sights other than that not much happening.
Coming to the end of 1st weeks flushing, starting to yellow up slightly so should be ready for the chop next week. Looking super frosty.
Got my self some invisible sun quantum boards (3500k)this week so got them straight in the tent and I have to say it's so nice to see the plants in a clear light again, a little late to have much effect on this grow but I'm sure the next lot will love it!
Grew fantastically. Had 3 plants with 2 definite pheno types. 2 plants were super frosty and sticky while the 3rd was way less frosty and darker but bigger and denser
Glueberry og was really easy and enjoyable to grow. Literally didn't have a single issue with her.
The only problem I had with the grow was a faulty timer which led to a couple of extra weeks in flower.
Curing as we speak but I've had a sneak test and I'm really impressed.
I've just bought a set of quantum boards and now I can't wait to give glueberry another grow under them.
Thanks for following along guys, hope your all growing well 🌱💚
@TheUndercoverGrower, I had the same thing going on in my grow with this strain. I had lights at recommend height and all . Wonder if this strain is more susceptible to it
@Johnnyb__blazing, good eyes. Little bit of light bleach which I'm presuming was from getting slightly too close to the leds. I've moved them up a bit now
@TheUndercoverGrower, I’m new to growing cannabis so I don’t really know the differences between lights etc, but I’m excited for you! I’ve got some triple cheese on the go right now, and so far it’s been a breeze also.
Great job on the SCROG pal. I’ll follow along. I need to learn this to get the most out of my space.
Can I ask where you got the thermostat switch from for your heater?
@Rory420, good old ebay mate

I've just got it plugged in a meter high in the corner of the tent. Seems to be pretty accurate
You just got a new follower!I also grow with quantum boards and it's great to see the results of other growers with this unbelievable grow lights.Peace :)
@BigBomber, I've literally only just got the quantums mate, this grow was done under a combo of HPS and blurple LED. Spent the last 10 days under the quantums though.
I have 4 fat banna from RQS to flip to flower so they'll see the full benefit of the new lights
@BigDaddyK, yeah they definitely work can get that bit closer without the heat being too much. I may of got too close if anything as I think I've got a bit of light bleach on a couple of the buds, chances are that's from the LEDs though.
It's a jungle in there!!!👍 Lush growth!!!💪 I realize you are only in week 7, but I have to ask a few questions.
I'm growing these beans next, In my 2X4 tent. Thinking about mainlining ( I prefer the term Manifolding), or maybe ScrOG, with 7 gallon pots. Do you suggest 2 or 3 plants?
I think you could just about get away with 3 plants doing a scrog, they really are bushy little beauties so would fill that right up.Never done mainlining/manifold so can't help you on that one sorry.
@DeaneR, yeah lovely big leaves on her, block the light a bit though. Nothing too fancy with the humidity to be honest. If I want to raise humidity I'll. Just spray the walls of the tent, leave a few bowls of water in the tent or hang a wet towel up. Simple cheap solutions.
The app on android is quirky. It only posted half of my comment. Forgot what that was....however the grow is looking good UCG! These genetics look awesome. Growing these next.
@DeaneR, yeah the android apps not the best is it, I've given up and reverted to the website.
Yeah the glueberry definitely has potential, I'll be taking cuttings in the next few weeks but I've got high hopes that she could earn a long term place in my garden.
@Mimi_the_dog, I'm only adding 4ml/l of canna rhizotonic. It's great for developing roots and does no harm at all to seedlings. Great product and I use it every grow, would definitely recommend.
