Girls are getting bigger and stronger. Need to get them swapped into larger pots with some new soil. Will kick up the lights & start hardening them off this upcoming week for outdoor. Id like to see them in 15 gallon pots with a mid/late October harvest in the outdoor greenhouse. Hoping new setup will mitigate weather and bugs!
Alrighty we are off and running...lil half day today since was cloudy and they took it like champs. Gave them all a dome tonight except the mystery lady lol she won't fit...I used pro mix amended with biocharr and some earth worm castings bone meal coast of Maine lobster and crab compost along with some of our special farm blend from the cow pasture. Ph was perfect. I wet pots yesterday and then mixed again today until they were nice and moist but g not mud pie. I cut away the peat pots just in case they tried to slow down and box in the roots. Was scared but they came off really easy by cutting a vertical line then unwinding. No root damage so we shall see how they being outside tonight hope temps and humidity ain't too much of a shock. Should be good temp/light for next 3-4 days so hopeful these will be some some summer monsters for my new indo/outdo greenhouse. Onward
Girls have been topped and LsT training with some clips. The mystery plant snapped in a storm so that's been mega topped lol I put the top end in some rooting solution and planted seems like might just have one lil pitbull plant but wtvr not a total loss. Weather been gnarly so been moving them inside before major storms until they fatten up and I get my greenhouse walls up. Few lil worms /caterpillars this am on a leaf but not too much damage. Not bad for the start of week 4 using new techniques for a newbie. Onward and Upward
Getting the 7 Gallons filled nicely. Maybe week or 2 at most before I transplant again into final homes - 15 Gallons. The girls are now buttchuggin along and seem happy. Ordered 2 more so everyone gets same love and they seem alot easier. I removed some of the plastic grill into reservoir so I could get my ph pen in there. Gotta finish the last few walls for the greenhouse bc they are starting to stink and the bugs are gonna be an ongoing concern/issue, Super happy with my first time trying LST / Topping seems like they are all close to even height with nice wide canopies. Bunch of new flowering sites popping up daily so thats cool. Lttle worried about getting the clips off of the main stem before they get too wide and either hurt plant or stunt growth etc....kinda hoping they would pop off lol
Alrighty the girls are finally in their final homes - Got them moved up yesterday from 7 Gallons to 15. Broke one of my main flowering sites on the VB Ghani in a storm but ain't nothing too bad. Hoping she will start some new bud sites from where it broke. Tried cloning the break but failed. Anyways... Finally got my walls up and hopefull that I can mitigate wind now for the rest of the season. Gonna water from top this week since new soil and pots hoping they will find the bottom feeders by the weekend on their own. I took off my training clips and LST to let them breath a bit and reduce any chances of stunted growth from clips on fat stems trying to avoid the dr seuss setup lol. Gonna be a hot / humid week so will keep an eye on colors since they were just transplanted and might get moody. ONWARD!
Getting super busgy! Trying to push them wide until last minute before they strecth. May start some defoliation in a week or so to get some light deeper under canopy but just fan leaves and junk. Getting hot AF here pushing high 80s and little wind but girls seem strong and willing. They are drinking pots every three days or to keep cool. Was worried about transplating up into these 15 gallons but not a single issue i've seen. Gonna be battling bugs this week and maybe some gnarly weather!
Solid Week - Girls got some new scaffolding and a trim :) Starting to stank - Love it
Bugs aint so bad - Found one slug this week and fighting the leaf hoppers but nothing to get spooked about yet. Been 100+ almost for last 3-4 days and they are drinking a ton to fight the heat but seem happy to keep pushing. Lots of new flowering site opening up after defoliation.
Gonna have to raise the roof for the mutant! All girls healthy and first preliminary signs of flowering seeing some lil tendrils poking out at flower sites. Wont be long. Getting crowded and most likely gonna have to make some mods to prep for the fatties :) Girls drinking nonstop have to fill pots almost daily Scafollding and defoliation working well! Onward
Just Got Back from Vacay to a Jungle! But the girls are ok :) Unle JoJO was able to keep them watered for me while I was away and the bugs aint crush them so I'll take it as a win. I might have a few hrs of trimming ahead of me and some new lattice work. Gonna have to mod the roof and expand the pad. Onward!
Lots of rain and crazy growth going. Finding some curled leaves with moth sacks this week but seemingly able to get them all gone before they hatched! Sprayed some organic omni stuff to fight them bugs aint too bad. The mutant "Layla" keeps growing to the moon. Toook some cuts yesterday to clean up the underskirts a bit and let them breathe. All of this rain isnt a worry yet but feel like air flow will help. Found a frog buddy in my underpot chilling and vibing with my gals. Named him Cornelius :)

Onward! Survived a gnarly strorm but everyone is healthy happy - minimal bug issues this week solid sun but a ton of rain so keeping an eye out for anythign glaring but so far so good. Hopefully they arent gonna stretch too much more but who knows?
HOT AF - but the girls are green and happy - bugs this week have been minimal and the storms aint break anything :) Flowers starting to pop and the stank is on! the Skunk is LOUD rest are pure funk
All the ladies working good! added some seabird quano and worm castings with some fish shit and sea K also some biochar and some freh promix as a top dressing. onward
Girls are bulking up now! Femme Fatale just exploded in nugs and crystals LFG!
bunch of deloliation over last few weeks and now im fighting the am dew with a leaf blower and shaking nugs lol anyways plugging along pretty well. Layla is getting beefy and starting to see some pinks and purps!
Girls are so solid right now - superfrosty super stank! Layla Longlegs The VA Landrace Queen is almost ready. The Femme Fatal has me so impressed - frostiest and stankest of group. She is also the fastest finisher next to Layla. Everyone happy so far fighting mold but hopefully run will be over before anymore spreads
Solid week. Beyond expectations for everything size/speed. I left them in window and they got a bit dry yesterday but bounced they all back quickly with minimal issues.
