Holy Punch

TheUndercoverGrower Not a strain I'd of grown normally but won a couple of seeds from The Vault Seed Store so thought why not do a diary. Starting in a 70x70 tent under a 300w viparspectra led. Biobizz light mix and canna rhizotonic to start. Will be grown in a tent alongside 3 glueberry og

TheUndercoverGrower Really slow start on this seedling due to poor drainage in the pots I was using and extremely cold temps in my grow room. Both issues sorted and now back on track, transferred to a 1 litre pot and put a heater in the room.

TheUndercoverGrower As ever not much to see this early in veg. Few sets of proper leaves now and looking very healthy. Will probably start introducing a 1/4 strength feed later in the week.

TheUndercoverGrower Start of week 4 (9/12/18) and the Holy Punch has been repotted in to a 15l pot with bio Bizz all mix. Looking slightly droopy but will bounce back in a few days time. I've also moved her & 3 glueberry og in to a larger tent 1m x 1m under a 600w dual spectrum hps light (turned down to 400 at the moment)

TheUndercoverGrower Upped the feed slightly this week and have put them in to my larger tent under a 400w MH. Started a bit of LST and will probably top next week.

TheUndercoverGrower Been away for a few days this week so gave her a really good watering before I left. Was very pleasantly surprised to come back to a far bushier plant than I left. LST time. She's looking extremely healthy and growing more vigorously than the glueberry she's sharing a tent with. Gave her a good defoliation and she's still looking bushy, think I'm going to enjoy this grow.

TheUndercoverGrower She's really bushing out this week, I think I'll flip to flower next week but not until I've taken some cuttings and let her recover. Remo nutrients have been upped again and as always she's loving it. I've been doing a bit of LST on her most days, just a bit of bending, tying and cutting and I'd say it was paying off nicely. Today I've added a 600w Mars hydro to the tent and removed a 300w viparspectra (needed elsewhere)

TheUndercoverGrower Not a lot to say this week really, last week of veg just getting ready for the flip over. Doing a last bit of defoliating/lollipoping. Taken a few cuttings which I'm hoping root as will be passing them on to a friend. On to the flowering stage, should be fun.

TheUndercoverGrower End of first week of 12/12 set up a scrog mid week as well, not used one before so shall see how I go. Not a lot to say at the moment, just coming along nicely and lookong very healthy.

TheUndercoverGrower 2nd week of 12/12 and she's doing well, definitely stretched more than the glueberry og's she's growing next to, I've been weaving her branches through the scrog though to maintain as even a canopy height as possible. Small buds forming now which is always nice to see. She's quite a thirsty plant and looked severely under watered 1 day this week after no attention for an extra day so have upped watering to about 1.3l a day. All looking good, the cuttings I took off her have rooted nicely as well and will be passed on shortly. See you all next week.

TheUndercoverGrower I've discovered this week my timer that was powering the 600w LED had developed a fault and was turning on roughly an hour early, explains why Holy Punch has been taking a while to kick in to full flower. Has probably put the grown behind by about 10 days which is a bit annoying but these things happen. The Holy Punch is getting pretty thirsty and I have to say she's looking very nice. I've taken the 600w led out and replaced it with 2 x 300w leds either side of the hps to spread light more evenly.

TheUndercoverGrower Stretch seems to have stopped now and it's developing buds nicely, I think she's going to be a big girl with a good yield in the end. She's the biggest plant in the the tent now and I'm hoping she doesn't start overshadowing the plants around her.

TheUndercoverGrower Bulking up nicely now I can see holy punch being a big girl, I'm glad I took a few cuts off her now. Not much going on in the tent at the moment just the usual keeping the grow space clean, removing yellowing leaves and tucking larger fan leaves where I can.

TheUndercoverGrower All going along nicely. Holy Punch is turning out to be a bit of a dark horse, really getting a good size and I can see her being a very good yielder. Not really too much to report which at this stage of the grow is always a good thing. I've upped the nutrients this week in line with the remo nutrient feeding chart. The finish line is in sight

TheUndercoverGrower Nothing to really report this week other than slightly increasing the astro flower, all going nicely. About 3 weeks to go.

TheUndercoverGrower Holy punch is packing on weight this week! Buds are frosting up and I couldn't resist given a few a little squeeze and they are dense! She's turning out to be a very nice surprise. Pictures don't really do her justice but the scrog makes it pretty difficult to get in there and move her round for a good shot.

TheUndercoverGrower I didn't bother updating the diary last week as there was nothing going on really, just finished the 1st week of flushing and another week till harvest. Only big change going on is the hps and little viparspectra LEDs have been taken out and replaced by 2x invisible sun ISH265 quantum boards.

TheUndercoverGrower Very easy plant to grow that didn't present any problems. I was. Little dissapointes in the yield purely because I thought she was going to produce more than the glueberry she was growing next to. Still I'm happy with quality over quantity and this is definitely that. Sweey grape type flavour with a bit of a kick. Nice high had me chatting away before chilling right out.
