This is my first grow. I wasn't aiming for much yield, I just wanted to try it out with the new legalisation in germany. I made the mistake and put the pots too far away from the window so unfortunately there was etoliation in the beginning. I tried to fix it with moving the seedlings closer to the window and added a little soil for stabilisation.

Etioation halted in week 2 yet with the damage already done. Weather wasn't too great, plants grew slowly but surely. The third seeling had a little problems developing and was always 5-7 days behind the other two.

Further growth in the plants, still a little slow, but I like to see them grow. At the end of the week, the first of the three showed first signs of flowering . Can't wait to see them blooming.

This was a really tough week and I feel like I have been way too involved with the plants and made things worse than better. First I swapped them around to achieve a better light distribution. In the end it didn't matter because the two larger plants still stole the light from the smaller plant. Unfortunately I don't have a better solution because of limited space in my flat. The second problem was that I was keeping the plants too wet. This lead to an invasion of fungus gnats, which I tried to defeat with natron, which probably lead to an increase in pH level of the soil. I ordered BTI as recommended in many forums but I am still waiting for delivery. Otherwise all three plants sit now comfortably in pre flowering stage showing their sex. I hope my plants didn't take too much damage from this week going into flowering stage.

I evaluated the trichomes of plant 1 closely and came today to the conclusion, that it is ready to harvest. Interestingly, even though the other two plants aged quicker with faster yellowing of the leaves, the flowers are still not as developed as the ones of plant 1. I will give the other two plants another week or two.

I dried plant 1 propably a day to long, but I was not sure because it was my first harvest. Before manicuring I harvested 18 gramms, half of it (the popcorn buds) was baked into delicious and strong brownies. The rest of it will be cured in my cupboard. The buds of plant 2 and 3 are still developing with many clear trichomes and not ready for harvest.

I was finally able to harvest all three plants. I harvestet around 20-30 grams per plant. Unfortunately, I started curing too early and I lost half of the yield to mold, which was very frustrating.

I am seeing very beautiful plants here :) I grow indoor with LED but when the sun is shining I turn OFF the lights and take the ladies to the window. I t does not happen too often as I live in a oceanic cool climate area. Results are amazing me that way... and I won´t run out of weed 😅😉good luck !!!!

@Charizard, low cost COB´s full spectrum, ones from china and standard SMD led lights for home and garden that you can find in a store or any supermarket... trying to play with spectrum using cool whites and bluer ones for veg and more reddish and warm white/orange and yellows for flowering.

@nexuscrypto, sounds like a great plan! Which LEDs do you use?

Nice plants, thanks for this! I love how you are making your weed, very minimalistic and practical. Do you ponder tinkering with your setup (e.g. sun reflector behind the plants, aliexpress lamp and such)? Or are you happy with it, just the way it is? Either way: have fun and good luck!

@g_slim, thank you very much :). I thought about setting up a sun reflector and I will propably set one up for future grows. But I think I will not set up a lamp just yet, at least not until autumn... To be honest everytime it is cloudy or rainy (which is quite often) I am worried about my grow. But I also think if I start using lamps I will open up a bottomless bottle and will start to optimize everything and end up using an expensive set up... At least for now I try to keep it as minimalistic and practical as possible :). And I am quite happy how it turned out just the way it is. But thank you very much for the ideas and eventually I will propably upgrade the set up... In the latest when winter is coming and I am out of weed ;).
the end.
