Within the vast universe of cannabis seeds, each choice leads to potential and variety. To show the step-by-step process, accompanying the weekly story of two seeds acquired from the Sensi Seeds bank.
Among the seeds selected for this adventure, we have an automatic variety, which means it promises rapid flowering regardless of the light cycle, and another feminized one, named Buttercream Gelato. I advise you to go to Google just to get an idea of (BG) and other seeds available on the seed bank's website. Research allows us to understand the variety, cannabinoid percentage, terpenes, and other characteristics that dictate what we want.

At the beginning of the journey, we chose a simple approach for germination. After acquiring the seeds, I used kitchen paper and moistened it, creating a bed for the seeds to rest. Carefully, I placed the seeds - SIMPLE, right?
Moistened paper with tap water, ensuring that the pH is appropriate, I placed everything in a dark and warm place.
I waited three days
On the third day, I saw the first sign of life emerging from the seeds. I cried when I saw the delicate roots coming out, signaling the beginning of growth. (I didn't cry, but damn)
With the success of germination, it was time to prepare the next step in plant care. We prepared a pot to accommodate the growing seeds. Before planting them, we performed a simple action, using the depth of our pinky finger as a reference, ensuring an ideal depth for planting. We decided to leave the head of the seed slightly exposed. To shelter our young plants, I opted for a glass greenhouse. (I had one lying around at home, it's not a real greenhouse)

After tossing the seeds into the greenhouse, everything seemed to be going smoothly... until it wasn't. Out of nowhere, the plants decided they wanted to be giraffes and started stretching their stems as if trying to reach the moon! Seriously, it looked ridiculously disproportionate and hilarious! (HAHAHAH)
So, I thought: "How do I fix this mess?" My brilliant idea was to bury the plants until they were at most 3cm - 5cm from the top to the soil. But hold on, anyone who thinks I followed that plan exactly is seriously mistaken. With two different seeds, I decided to do an experiment: I planted the automatic one 5cm deep and the feminized one 10cm deep. Because, hey, who doesn't love a bit of mad science?
You can check out the results of this botanical adventure in the photos. Now, I'm left wondering: did I create Frankenplants? What problems might I face? What should I have done?
I'm thinking they might end up suffering from stem instability, physical damage, and root issues.
Oh, and did I mention? They're already in outer space, and our cultivation approach is going to be as natural as possible, always considering organic products when necessary.

To recap: for the plants that grew too much in the greenhouse, I conducted an interesting test. I completely covered the automatic plant and left the feminized plant with 10 cm above the ground.
Nowadays: Both plants are now outdoors, and the results have been curious. The feminized plant continued to grow and is now 14 cm tall, but a gust of wind damaged its stem this made it difficult for nutrients and water to reach the leaves. . I improvised a support with a small stick and a loop to hold the plant up. We’ll keep an eye on it in the coming days; I'm considering doing something creative with it. What do you think? Any ideas on how to make it artistic? ( give me some ideas )
The automatic plant took a while to start growing. With automatic plants, whenever there is a pot change or stress, they lose growth time to adapt to the new environment. However, as you can see in the image, it has a healthy color, ideal size, and is in great condition!

Today, I bring mixed news from our garden. Unfortunately, the news is not the best for our beloved feminized plant. As we can see in the picture, the stem is quite thin and fragile, which compromises the healthy growth of the plant. As we know, the stem plays a fundamental role in the structure and development of the plant. It provides support for the branches and leaves, allowing them to carry out photosynthesis. Additionally, it is through the stem that water is transported from the roots to all parts of the plant.
Despite having placed a support that has helped a little, only the next few weeks will tell how her development will be. I am sharing my experience with plant growth, and you are invited to follow this mystery with me. Will she reach flowering? What will be the maximum height she will reach? I will document each stage, and together we will discover the outcome of this story.
On the other hand, the news is promising for our automatic plant! Since the last update, it has grown another 4 cm. The temperature this week has been quite favorable, with plenty of sun and little wind. By watering it with pH 6.5 - 7 water and using quality soil, I am confident that it will continue to thrive and reach the 5th week of vegetation in great condition.
