INTRO
Hi There,
This is my first indoor grow.
I've done a few stealthy "Greenhouse/Balcony Potted" grows before but nothing really successful.
I have never given additional nutrients before, except what was in the potting ground or a drain of the garden's
compost.
The best grow thus far achieved was approximately 25 gr.
With this closet and LED combo I have to control vertical space enormously. The LED
light takes 35 cm's from the top, reducing max length to 75 cm. Which sucks monkey balls !
A few better drilled holes or chains could alleviate that
but this primate isn't allowed near the power tools.
I only started giving consistent feeding 2-3 weeks ago. Modifying the numbers of my brand of generic
liquid nutrients to something approximating something legit, inspired by "Master Tangs" major nutrient levels.
It's amazing how good this plant, with the help of this simple copycat elixir, recuperates from all my clumsy shenanigans.
Awesome. These where the last beans out of the DP collector pack.
And I'm so so sorry I grew the other so callously. If only ... I had improved my workflow sooner.
Cheers and Many Bananas,
Goarilla
DIARY
26/05 Today was a difficult day, temperatures topped 32C. I've had to
regularly mist all the plants (except the Blooming one ofcourse) to cool
and/or increase humidity. It looks like this odd lowland heatwave is
gonna last a while. It was dry today however, which is easier to deal
with than that humid/swampy/sticky weather.
27/05/2017 A little more LST, using the sacred "in short supply" thick,
sturdy but plastic electrical wire. Bending one of Polly's "New Big Buds"
out from under the shadows of an old big bud.
Oh Dear Lord, Oh Monkey Son-Messiah Monkey and Bananitus-Spiritus of
the aforementioned this Princess is a giver. These buds are getting.
superhard, sugar leaves are crisping and turning confidently up, down or sideways.
I love this "Crisping Up".
28/05 I smoke, dream and stare for hours, looking obsessively into
`that` special closet in the jungle. A true spectacle of light, scent
and above all expectation. A closet with a LED lamp that is messing up
my colourvision, screwing up my rods and cones. But Fuck it :D.
Anxiously fighting against the heat yet again, growing a strong hate for
the numbers: "30", "50" and "80". This time it is a lot more humid so
I'm struggling now to keep it dry enough.
These hygrometers are amazing. With it comes the opportunity to help
your plant tremendously. The ability to intervene and create/modify
the environment to sustain the plant's respiration, thus allowing it
to grow where others can't, is a game changer. It can, However become
a stressfull game of "catching up".
I've noticed the plant stopped drinking as heavily as before. Will this
mark the beginning of the "turn-on-your-own-leaves" phase ?
The phase, I never was patient enough to let start ?
