Kratzman I initially wanted to sprout a Purple Punch from Barneys Farm, but it turned out dead (old seed). I got my hands on a Special Queen from RQS instead, so it germinated about a week later and is smaller. I propped it up with an empty toilet paper roll. Light still at 20%

Kratzman Runtz Muffin grows like a charm, already moved to the next container, no problems so far with her. Turned the light to 40%, which turned out to be too much for the Special Queen at this stage, burned the first set of leafs and stunted it a little bit.

Kratzman My Special Queen (bottom left) recovered from the heat stress and started growing really fast. She almost doubled her mass within one night. My Runtz Muffin got some defoliating work along the way. I removed some big fan leaves, that were stuck and twisted. I continue to tie her down a little every day. My plants only get Calmag, as they are in big pots. Plagron Allmix really packs some nutrients, some of my Runtz Muffin leaves show slight hints of overfertilization. You can also see some "nitrogen clawing" on the Special Queen, but at this stage it's completely fine.

Kratzman 20th May - Starting flowering by switching to 12-12 light cycle. So far, so good. 23th May - It appears to me, that the stretching has started already on both plants. To prevent deficiencies from stretching I will introduce grow fertilizer on the Runtz Muffin. The Special Queen #1 grows huge and I'm ever so slightly troubled to keep her tied down. 26th May - Flowering appears to have fully started. Plants already got huge - still no problems visible. Defoliated the Runtz Muffin for the last time (super bushy plant).

Kratzman Week 6: Plants are heading into full flowering phase. Still no problems at all - Plagron Allmix Soil in sufficiently large pots and Calmag will get you very far, if you don't use lots of wattage. Along with the flowers I start smelling more and more. Looking forward to the next few weeks. Approaching the end of this week, I started giving Bio Bloom. Future difficulty might prove to be adjusting the light accordingly.

Kratzman Starting this week I propped up the Runtz Muffin so it is closer to the light and switched their sides, so the bushier plant gets more wind. Humidity is a little higher these days, because of the drizzy weather outside. By the end of this week the Special Queen has stretched so tall, I've raised the lamp to it's highest position. It's getting out of hand a bit, I thought the Special Queen stopped stretching, but I was wrong.

Kratzman Starting this week I can't use my easy rolls anymore due to the plants height. Special Queen #1 is still stretching and has become huge, whereas Runtz Muffin seems to have reached it's final height two weeks ago. I'm now having an eye on any signs of lightburn, as the Special Queen has even been reaching between the light. Runtz Muffin is becoming a little lighter in color, so I'm ramping up her BioGrow and Bloom fertilizer. As she seems to tolerate some nutes I'm trying to reach her limits. My Special Queen on the other hand is still only getting 0.5 ml of that, due to her leaves being almost too saturated with nitrogen. As stated by RQS, she really doesn't like all that much nutrients. Looks like this will be a promising harvest in a few more weeks.

Kratzman Starting this week I notice the buds fattening on the Runtz Muffin. She is also getting some lighter leaves, which at this time is a little bit early and might also have started, because I bleached her a little due to the Special Queens height causing the lamp to already be at maximum height. The Special Queen #1 on the other hand is still stretching and developing lots and lots of bud sites with the main bud (photograph) starting to be humongous. She takes the strong light like a charm, with no signs of stress even directly under the light. Photo-wise I am trying some new settings on my camera to mitigate the lamps colouring on the photos. I hope they look better like this.

Kratzman Last week has been sort of rough on my Runtz Muffin. I suspect a nutrient lockout. Checked pH, flushed and reintroduce small amounts of nutrients again. She will be fine. My Special Queen #1 is still stretching

Kratzman Week 11 has dawned and autumn came into my tent. Likely only some two more weeks to go. Special Queen's flowers have gotten heavy. Going to install some kind of support, if I get an idea. Runtz Muffin seems to have recovered. I hope the buds will fatten up soon. The hot weather is over, so no more temperatures over 30°C to be endured. The ripening will hopefully benefit from this.

Kratzman Tent is becoming colorful, buds grow big. Trichomes on the Special Queen #1 are almost mostly milky, while the Runtz Muffin trichomes are still clear. Wondering how long it'll take. I thought I'd be harvesting by the end of week 13. Update: Checked again, as best as I could. Seems like they ripened up good. Will harvest soon. I'm also going to try to take some trichome pics, as requested. Update #2: Took some trichome pics. Special Queen #1 would be ready to harvest already. Runtz Muffin is still a little early. Milky trichomes are unevenly distributed, most are still clear.

Kratzman The final days arrived. Milky trichomes all the way on my Special Queen. Mixed trichomes on my Runtz Muffin. Will check the trichomes again until the end of the week. Feeling ripe, might chop down later.

Grow-Review: She grew nicely, but took longer than expected. Doesn't like too much nutrients as I found out. But she seemed robust in and after recovery. Her flowers are really a sight to behold. Purple and green at the end of flowering, she dried into uniquely beautiful buds with blueish-lavender colors. Never had this before. Unbelievably resinous too. No wet weight, unfortunately. My drying method doesn't give you real insight into how much it really weighs. Dry I harvested 58 grams of good flower with small amounts of quality trim and popcorn buds. Smoke report: Smoke was nice and thick, mellow taste to it. But man does this strain pack a punch. I got baked with such a strong onset that I decided to stop smoking my joint after only a few puffs. I then sat down on my couch and couldn't get up anymore. Never had this feeling in years. Doesn't need any more description. The huge THC content speaks for itself.

Kratzman Nice and easy grow overall. Not the most perfect, but very far from the worst. I think I am close to what you can get out of a small grow space and minimal to no climate control.

Grow-Review: This strain was a gift and came to me by surprise. I tend to not look after strains I didn't choose myself. But these always grow into the most interesting. As was the case with Special Queen #1. She grew a main bud almost as long as my upper body and well as thick as a can of coke. Needless to say, she was easy to grow. Couldn't see hunger on her, using only Plagron soil and tiny amounts of BioBizz nutes. The grew tall as hell, even with LST applied. In the end tve flowers got so heavy, she just fell apart. Looked like a broom in end (see photos). Additionally, her smell reminds me of moroccan hashish, which I really love. She even finished first, which I didn't expect from her sativa-like growth. The only downside I found was, she produced lots of popcorn buds. But this could have well been my fault, because I didn't do any cutting on her. And one very small branch mysteriously died during mid to late flower. Again no wet weight due to my drying method. Harvested 75 dry grams of good flower. Much more quality trim. Unfortunately my household is not eligible to own more than 100 grams, so I had to dispose any excess dry stuff accordingly. Smoke Report: Smokes like a charm even after some short time of curing. After smoking you notice some really uplifting effects. It's Indica genes can definetly be felt too, but the bodily feel is not as strong as the head rush. All in all it's not too strong, which definetly makes it a well balanced strain. Recommended for people who want some stress relief and not get super couch-lock baked.
