All 3 Seeds sprouted pretty fast. I soaked them in water for 6 hours & then I put them in the soil. Took two days for the heads to pop out, but I also buried them a little deep (2cm).
One of the Jack Herers has the mutation "vertical phyllotaxy". I'm curious how long it will grow that way.
I'm keeping the Jack Herers Indoor until May 25 under 36W LED @300 ppfd for 12 hours (remaining hours the sun is strong enough to provide 300+ ppfd in the window).
Royal Cookies will stay inside a little longer due to limited space outside. It will go outside when the Jack Herers are done. July 22 would be 10 weeks from seed, should be enough for these autoflowers.
According to other grow reports, they take between 9 & 13 weeks, but they will have to make room once the cookies start to smell 🍪
Day 8: Everything is going fine, they are growing happily. I applied foliar spray of Acti-Vera & Bio-Grow because they looked a bit yellow and the soil was still wet.
I'm happy that my little mutant is staying true to herself and is producing three leaves on the first and second node.

Day 10: I put them outside a little earlier than planned because the weather was good. They are covered with greenhouse film for the first couple of days to allow them to get comfortable outside.
Somehow I didn't notice until today that the cookies plant is alot smaller. She is also working on growing her second node, but everything is half the size. Very interesting!
The girls seem to like it outside. It was raining yesterday and it was also very windy BUT they all looked very happy this morning.
The companion plants (marigold & chamomile) also seem to have adapted well to the outdoor life 😎
It rained a lot last week so I could not really water them to add more nutrients. Hoping for better weather this week.
Cookie is still working on pushing out her 2nd and 3rd sets of leaves, while the other two are already working on their 4th and 5th 😅
She is taking her sweet time, but on the other hand she also has a lot longer to go so I'm curious to see when she decides to pick up the pace a little.
This week we had a couple of sunny days. The Plants seem to have liked it. The little one seems to be have started growing a little faster again.
The two Jack Herers are starting to show their first pistils.
Summer has finally arrived and the two Jack Herers are now starting to smell a little bit. I really enjoy just sitting beside them at the window.
The Royal Cookies plant is going slow and steady, but she is still going. I'm excited to see if she will take off or if she will remain a dwarf.
To be fair I mistreated her a little bit in the beginning and I also think she suffered a little more during cold nights, as she is sitting inside a solo cup which of course has alot less
thermal mass then the 11l container the other two are sharing.
But as I'm not growing for yield and rather for fun and relaxation, I'm just excited to learn how this plant handles different and maybe even adverse conditions.
Still hoping for good weather this week! 🙏
The two Jack Herers stretched a lot this week. The mutant is showing more preflowers per node than the other one.
Royal cookies is just chugging along.
It has been a lot warmer and less humid this week and the plants seem to like that
Not much to report for this week, they are chugging along. The Royal Cookies plant is still pretty small as you can see. The Jack Herers both have stopped stretching and are throwing out new pistils every day.
I harvested the mutant this week. It looked ready judging from the trichomes. Should be about one or two grams when dry. Not a huge yield, but that's due to weather and let's call it ✨learning experiences✨ (beginner mistakes) I made. Smells really nice, a bit spicy and I really enjoyed growing my first plant.
The other Jack Herer is far from finishing, she looks like she will take at least two more weeks.
The dwarf has moved to a bigger pot and will live indoors. She seems to like the new soil better, her leafs darkened a little and she finally started to develop side branches (slowly). She will just sit in the window sill for now, because there is no space for the larger pot outside.
