Hi,
- 12 hours in glass of water
- germinated in coco pellets
- stayed in Propagator for two or three days
- then transferred to 2 Liter pots and put under light.
First day under light was after 7 days from start = 06/03
In the past the was a mixture of paper towel, pelltes and diretly in substrate. Most times success was 100%
Last method I used and will use in the future is the method Dutch Passion recommends. I had never seen something like this before, but it worked perfectly. 100% vital seedlings with first real pair growing green after 4 days and under light. No problems at all.
Thanks. 👍🏼
Hi everyone,
here we go, keep it simple.
Start: 01/03/2024
- left: 5 x Sweet Cheese F1 fem
- middle: 5 x Think Fast fem
- right: 5 x Frisian Dew
- 4 x 55W PL-L 865
- 2 Liters high pots (love the shape)
- Atami Light Mix
- water only, always
- open window or door
Cheers!
Hi there,
from 2L to 7L round container on 24/03/2024
Start Mainlining on Day 25 = 25/03/2024
Looks pretty brutal so i let 4 leaves on the plant. Makes sense in my view.
Have fun!
Hello people out there,
in this week i cut again: we leave the first node and third node / remove second node. Now there are 8 tips per plant. Let grow.
Cheers!
Hello there,
removed some more leaves to get better air flow, as I do not use a ventilator. 😊 Works well.
Edit: added some more pics.
Thanks and kind regards.
Have a good time.
Cheers folks,
finally at the beginning of May '24 they all went outside to they new home, our balcony.
6 of them were put into 20 to 25 liters soil. Own mixture of old, new, and used soil.
3 were put into 11 liters to keep them small but healthy.
Additionally these 3 plants received another treatment with a sharp scissor. After that, they had 16 small tips, so the mainlining process goes one here.
The goal is to put them directly into soil in the garden. 😎🤗 This will probably happen beginning of June.
After that they will grow for at least 8 further weeks.
They will have 32 to 64 (or more) colas in the end if everything works well.
We'll see.
Have a good time folks.
Enjoy.
Thanks.
Kommissar
Hey everyone!
These plants went from a safe place indoors, 220W PL-L 865, to our balcony, South. 8am till 5pm more or less direct sun. Good air flow here since I removed those bamboo cover.
I use "Nebula" Manifolding technique.
-- 6 plants went to 20-25 liter containers, and soon will be placed in a dark room to force them to bloom.
-- 3 Plants went to 11L containers -- these will be cut at least one more time and let grow until they flower naturally. 😊👍🏼
I like this technique very much, it is a lot of fun but also work.
This is the first time i have this much control about the plants, as i used to grow "guerilla style" for the last 20 years. Letting grow and harvest what is smokable.
Thanks for watching.
More pics to come.
Kind regards from GER.
Hello,
nice early warm weather. 😎 Good year for early growers.
I try to control the height and direction of the colas. Some of them had grown asymmetrically because of lack of space under the lamps.
Cheers!
Hello earthlings,
we've put the 6 bigger plants into flower on 19/05/24. Maybe a little late for a stealth grow. 😊
4 weeks to go untill they hopefully do the rest on their own.
The other 3 plants stay in 11 Liters for a few days and will be then transferred to the garden. 🤗
Kind regards
Der Kommissar
Hey folks,
I'm really sorry for the delay, the priorities sometimes change a bit. In the meanwhile I took a lot of photos and we harvested all 6 plants from our balcony.
These pics in week 13 are from 22.05. - 28.05.
Darkening the plants every day goes for a total of 4 weeks from 19.05. - 16.06..
Enjoy. :)
Hey folks,
after a perfect month of May, weather changed beginning of June.
Average of maybe 18-20⁰C through the whole month, with tendency to no direct sunlight at all.
Populations of snails exploded in our regions in Western Germany, but we personally have been lucky compared to others. I read on the internet of people who killed 100s and 1000s of snails.
Hello. :)
It's getting interesting in flower week 3 and 4. It is big fun to watch the girls develop.
Weather is not on our side, as mentioned, but the plants are vital and also grow with little direct light. Not as big, but as long as they are vital there are no problems at all. Yield is not our highest priority.
I give water every 3-6 days, depending on the weight of the pots. Maximum from fourth week of flower to the end was about 1,4 liters per plant.
We also used some Bittersalz (Magnesium Mg) because we have only very little Mg in our water, near to zero.
Thanks for watching by, cheers.
Hi,
I turned every plant 180⁰ to take photos from the north and the south side.
No problems at all, the whole balcony team healthy till the end. :)
In our garden, 3 plants check out their new ground and environment. :P A lot of sun for these girls now , and natural flower comes soon, in August.
Think Fast in the ground struggles from transplant-shock, cool grey weather, Trauermücken (Fungus gnats?)
I mixed 100 liters of Floragard torffreie Gartenerde with around 100 liters of the soil in our garden, which is quite sandy but obviously delivers some nutes. (See week 30 for example) I loosened up the soil below and to the sides.
Beginning of August I use 175grams/m² of "Hofdünger" NPK ~ 2,6-2,6-6,2 for the Think Fast standing in the ground.. No defiancies at all till the end.
Greets, let grow
Kommi
Hello,
pics are from 19.06.24 - 25.06.24.
They bloom in natural lights now, while day lenght is at its maximum. ~16,5h "Midsommer"
Result at the end:
1) Think Fast: very good in this experiment. No hermis, no bananas, very little signs of re-vegging.
2) Sweet Cheese: also very good! One single banana at the very bottom of the plant #2 at the very end of the cycle. (53 flowering days) No re-vegging at all.
3) Frisian Dew: hermis (#2) and banans (#1) recognised pretty late in week 7 of flower. :( Crazy re-vegging symptoms visible on #1.
I would not recommend to make experiments with Frisian Dew. Just give her endless soil and natural lights only, and she never dissapoint you like this. :) Promised.
Think Fast is my new discovery. Will grow this again besides sone regular seeds for making my own outdoor seed.
Best regards from the commissioner
Hi folks,
pics are from 26.06. - 02.07..
Day 118 - 124 / Flower Day 38 - 45
(If my math is correct :P)
Think Fast are just beautiful plants, as described by DP: some plants are a bit more stretchy and have a litte less trichomes on their sugar leaves. I confirm. :)
Smaller, more compact phenos tend to be more sweet and floral with earthy tones, with a bit of Citrus and/or Diesel. Well I confirm again. Perfectly described. Thanks. :)
Both have a sweet-earthy background.
Our stretchy TF #2smells like Mint & Lime / Tangerine / Orange really delicious. The sugar leaves around the flowers are coloured "meer-grün".
(Sorry I dont know the translation, and I am too lazy using any translator. :) Hope you can understand everything I write. Thanks for your understanding.)
See pics. Hope you enjoy.

Weather was not so nice. In June we had more and more often cloudy sky and cool temps. Not helpful for bud production but as long as the plants stay healthy and vital, I don't see any problem.
Thnx
Kind regards
Sweet Cheese F1 fast version - plant #1
05.07.24
Flower Day 48
In the end the trichs look good to me. :) Smell is not that strong, nice sweet and sour odour, resin production is at a top level as mentioned.
She's obviously not moving much anymore. Her need for water supply suddenly fell, so the pot was heavy for a longer time. I'm not sure about what the problem was, but in general I would say:
- I could have fed her a little in week 3 or 4
- probably is used to more direct sun (Spain?:))
- maybe root issue, but no symptoms besides that
Positive:
- very fast finishing, 7 to 7,5 weeks
- no hermaphrodite
- no pests, mold, insects*
- easy growing, strong and compact
= rock hard buds
- very good trichome production
*counts for all 6 plants. Suprised me a bit that there were so little issues with insects and mold this season.
I write this on 13.10.24 so the buds have been in jars for over 3 months now. Very mild smoke, full aromas. I'm satisfied with the results. :)
[First of all, I have to admit that I smoke a lot. So the tolerance is quit high and it is hard to say anything reliable about the specific effects.]
Smoke review:
The Smoke is very delicious for my aestethic perception. Cheesy sour taste when exhaled is definitely well recognisalble, could make some people addicted to this stuff. :) I'm sure it gives a hybrid effect more on the happy up-high side with good mood and giggling.
About 20 years ago, one of my good fellas' favourite weed was "BB Blue Cheese". It was very cheesy ott from hollandse Coffeshop. Once you smoke it, you will always remember the sour cheesy taste.
I think that the cheese component is well conserved in this variety.
Thanks a lot to the breeder.
Recommendable.
Kind regards
Hello,
03.07. - 09.07.
I harvested 3 plants in that week:
05.07. / Flower day 48 - Sweet Cheese #1
- maybe a few more days would have improved the result, but i'm satisfied and smoke is happy more up-high. Not weak at all. Tasty stuff.
07.07. / Flower day 50 - Frisian Dew #2
- I found hermaphrodite / male flowers in the lower third of the plant. :( But trichs and everything look good. No sign of revegging.
09.07. / Flower day 52 - Frisian Dew #1
- more and more symptoms of revegging here. Strange extra leaves without trichs. :( Later I found some bananas in the upper regions.
When harvested I found several single or pairs of banans inside the buds. :(
This rocket-shaped stretchy pheno did not finish here cycle at all, so at this point the decision is made that the product inthe end will be made to oil and sirup. :)
Cheers!
Frisian Dew - plant #2
07.07.24
Flower Day 50
Frisian Dew - plant #1
09.07.24
Flower Day 52
Both Hermaphrodite :(
- to be fair, it may be that the change in light cycle from flower week 5 on caused it. Till that point everything looked good, but in the end no one can say what was the cause. I realised there were bananas and male balls at the very end. :(
Damage was not big. 3 months later I can say, there were only few seeds, maybe 15-20 all together.
Plant #2:
The one DP recommends to look for.
Nice sweet and sour wild berries with sweet nutty, earthy undertone. Also sour smell and taste, similar to the Cheese when smoked but milder and more fruity.
Plant #1:
seems that it was meant to become a piney sativa-like plant with long colas and a flowering cycle of at least 9 weeks. What a pitty it built these bananas. Maybe because of pollination by the pther Frisian? Hahhaa. No one knows in the end.
I grew this strain several times guierilla, and was always one the most reliable. Everyone who knows her does not need any extra info.
Good hybrid effect, most phenos good for daytime smoke. Not too strong if you smoke not too much.
There are great phenos from very vigorous and sticky green, more compact to very stretchy with pink, violet, to very dark and completely violet like the "Purple #1".
Most of them have a sweet piney, herbal smell and taste. I like it very much, especially this sour-berry type, it is more on the sweet skunk side, but it get's a bit boring after a while.
And I am honest, now there were too many hermis and so on. So I only rate it 7/10. Still very strong, but I would only recommend outdoors only and natural light only! Results are best this way. Then it deserves at least 9/10. :)
Ciao.
Frisian Dew plant #2 - unfortunately Hermaphrodite :(
Frisian Dew plant #1 - re-vegged and built some bananas. :(
No risk no fun.
I recommend to always check very carfully, and only grow this variety in soil outdoors under natural lights only.
This way you get real monsters. I know what I'm talking about. :)
I did not not look close enough and thought everything was fine. Bad mistake. Schiet happens. Better next time. :)

@Sweet_Seeds, Apolo
Thank you Apolo, the 2 girls on our balcony really impressive when trich production suddenly exploded. Smell and taste are over the top, for me this is addictive stuff, just because of the taste. :)
One of the two plants had leaves where all(!) fingers point to the front, in one direction - I will post a picture at the beginning of week 13 very soon. :) Maybe you can tell me about this special pheno, which is different to all other plants i've ever seen, how often does occure? What is the background? It smells like something rotting, very earthy, super-stinky. Schweizer Käse. :) The buds tend to grow only upwards/to the inside... best is probably you wait for the pics to come, and then see what I mean. :)
Best regards
