Looking amazing. Plant definitely stalled before i switched to flower, so i think it filled the pot. Didn't quite get the coverage i was after, but it's still decent. I'm surprised with the lack of stretch with this one considering the sativa dominance.
Plant seems to be doing well. I had 2 male flowers appear down the bottom of the plant, but i don't think it pollinated any buds as none have shown signs of brown pistils yet.
The pot is completely full of roots, so probably should have gone bigger.
It stalled a little in veg at week 5, which is when i flipped.
Thanks for visiting!
Bottom bud sites starting to fill in a bit now. Fan leaves are yellowing despite good feeding, but new leaf growth is very dark green and showing slight nutrient burn. Will keep at a lower feed dose now and let the fan leaves do their thing.
Everything is going well, no major hiccups this run!
Not too long to go. Plenty of brown trich's around, but pistils still mostly white. Will probably be my last feed and will start with only plain water from now with the aim to chop in 10 days or so, maybe a little longer. This will take me to 8 weeks of flowering.
Im in the harvest window now. Have been starting to flush but decided to give it one more half strength feed. Also raised the light a touch as i think the might be some slight bleaching. Can see clusters of ambers throughout buds, but also clears and milkys. I've decided to let it run another week as ive harvested early my last few runs so want to see what happens when i leave it a bit longer. 7 more days and she'll come down.
Thought for sure she'd be ready by now, but still lots of white pistils and plenty of clear trichs when i go hunting. I can see large clusters of ambers now, which im after this time around. Shes on water with bio boost now, no nutes. I think she looks ready by appearance, but I'll assess in a couple of more days and make the decision.
Great hybrid, probably my favourite so far. Very good flavour considering it hasn't been cured for long, and amazing smell. The stone is the perfect all rounder, and my brain isn't racing like some of the other sativa leading strains I've tried. I let this one go longer than recommended to try and get a bit more of a relaxed stone, as i primarily smoke at night an hour or two before bed. Would highly recommend as a well balanced smoke.
I tried a dry trim for the fist time, and i think it's a better looking product. Seemed to take a little longer to trim, but i think it was worth it. I over-dried them quite considerably with our hot weather, and they haven't completely come back but they're close. Hopefully the Boveda packs will completely re hydrate them to 62% in a week or so.
Congratulations on the harvest! For the first time I used my QB304 @ 110W to grow LSD-25. Unfortunately, I ran into a deficiency which more likely stunted her growth. I'll be using the same setup again and see what the quantum boards really do.
I'm looking forward to your next grow 👍
@Short_N_stockY, Cheers! Once you dial it in, i think you'll love it.
I'm getting close to 1g per watt with a full tent, last grow was 135g total at 150w. I too ran into deficiencies in my first grow with the QB's, but i wasn't testing ph and i think i had a bunch of other newbie problems as well. My last 3 runs have been great.
Yes you are correct, the website says higher than 7.6 to lower. But if i use straight 8.5 tap water and add the 3.5ml/l of Bio Flores, it comes down to around 5.7, so i never saw the need to lower it or it would end up in the 4's.
I think the cal mag need comes more from your medium and light source. Coco apparently needs a great deal of cal mag added, as it doesn't provide any. I use Canna soilless mix which has some coco, plus using LED, so i choose to use it.
As far as lowering, i just use standard ph up/down. I know these aren't organic, but it's what i could find at the time and it works well using 1 or 2 drops.
@evilsurfer, I'm using An current and adding cal mag.. Thing is my tap water is mad hard, So I'm thinking if I go bio all the way maybe I dont need to add cal mag..
.And yes what did you use for lowering ph?? If i give them only water I lover it with lime acid...
P.s: I think I read on their website if your ph is higher than 7.6 we need to lower it..
@CovikLaFlaire, I found that with my tap water (Ph 8.6) using the old Bio line i had to adjust, as the ph would come out around 4.something with the Bio Flores. They seemed to be using a new formula now as the nitrogen levels have been upped in the Flores (Which are now actually higher than the old bottle of Bio Vega i have) and when i follow the feed chart my ph comes out around 5.6-5.7.
They do say there's no need to adjust, but i always like to check anyway.
As far as cal mag, i use it every second watering as a precaution. I had issues with my first grow so i started using it, but am unsure if it contributed to better results or if i just got better as a grower. It's so cheap that i just use it anyway, and you need so little of it. General consensus is that you need it with LED so that's good enough for me.
I did 1 ml/l every second watering from early veg and then i did .5 ml/l every second watering in the last 4 weeks or so.
