Plant #1 is currently 5cm tall, and Plant #2 is 6.5cm tall. Day: 14 Today, the little beauties were transplanted into a larger container so that the root system has more space for further development. After repotting, the plants were watered to minimize stress. Today marks the beginning of the vegetative phase for both lovely plants. That's it for week 2; I don't have more to report right now. Gruenerfinger85 Hello my garden and plant friends. I welcome you to another week with Amaretto Tarmac. This week, the lovely ladies were transplanted into a larger pot and into fresh soil enriched with worm humus. In the middle of the fifth week, the flowering period has begun for the two beauties. Exactly on day 32, the flowering started. #1 has a current height of 14.5cm, while #2 measures 25cm in height. Both plants are healthy and strong, and the internodal spacing shows quite an even distance. Now that the flowering has begun, you can tell that the little beauties have a greater thirst and hunger. Gruenerfinger85 Hey 👋🏼 friends of the green plant world. We are now in the second week of flowering and the buds are getting bigger and developing more pistils, which is a good sign. Unfortunately, I noticed a pest infestation this week, which means I have to keep a close eye on everything and treat the plants with neem oil, constantly checking to see if the infestation is decreasing or getting worse. I think the humidity is a bit too low, which is probably making the thrips feel at home.

Gruenerfinger85 Hello my friends of the Blooming Garden. Welcome to another week with the Amaretto Tarmac, unfortunately, I have no good news. The plants have been infested by pests, specifically thrips, which have spread nicely throughout the garden. I thought that with increasing humidity, the problem would be minimized, but unfortunately, that didn't work out. Now I will mix a spray solution with water, neem oil, and dish soap and spray the plants once or twice a week. I also need to raise the humidity; the air seems to be too dry, and this climate favors the persistence of thrips. In Room 1, those damn critters have also spread, so I will convert that room into a quarantine space to ensure this annoying issue becomes a thing of the past soon. One good thing about the infestation is that I can observe which plants are resistant and robust to some extent. The infestation can be identified by the affected leaves, which have many spots where the pest has sucked out the juices; otherwise, there are no further signs of infestation, and the rest of the plant seems unaffected. The flower clusters are developing very well despite the thrips infestation. The trichome production is running at full steam 💨. The color of the pistils is, in my opinion, very stylish, a vibrant orange. The buds smell delicious, fruity sweet, and make you crave more. Both ladies are hungry and thirsty, which is normal at this stage of their life cycle. I'm a bit annoyed that I missed the timely repotting; had that not been the case, the yield would have been larger. Well, we learn from our mistakes, as the saying goes.
