White Siberian- outdoor soil

jeesus This girlie got a rough start- twisted cotyledons and twisted growth for the first two nodes... but as you can see she has recovered well and all the new growth looks great. This week tried to top her on top of her 4th node but my fat fingers pinched off an extra leaf so fimmed her a bit lower at the 3rd instead. Pretty new at this but the new growth is suggesting the FIM was a success (if anyone can confirm). She is still in her tiny germination pot but will try to move her this week into a 13L (4gal cause i'm lazy and bad at repotting) smart pot once she recovers from the fim and continues growing a bit. Will be using a mix of 70% soil and 30% coco. Daylight hours continues to extend for 5 more weeks so hopefully we can turn her into a mini christmas tree 😉

jeesus Transplanted into a 3gal smart pot after FIM recovery. showing good growth though have constantly been having issues with fungus gnats and aphids as one would expect from outdoor grows. nonetheless she is doing well- may fim her once more before she goes into flower. using urea granules as nitrogen fertiliser alongside liquid seaweed

jeesus Growing good :) Started LST and will FIM again this week. 20th/dec- Freak hailstorm devasted this girl :'( lost a few fan leaves and one top/main branch was 90% severed and hanging on by a thread. I got to it about 5 mins after the hailstorm hit and attempted to fix her up. She's still small and didnt have any other support branches to tape her to- so see photo this method will have to do. Thought about chopping the top off completely and clone it but have zero experience and lacking equipment. Devastated- she was growing so well and responding terrifically to the LST. even fimmed her again 2 days ago.

jeesus For those that missed the week 6 update- there was a freak hailstorm with hails the size of your palm. This girl took one right to a main stem. Tried to save the stem with a cast and it was barely hanging on for two weeks with very little growth and showing signs of stress with twisted+droopy leaves. Yesterday finally decided to cut it off and let the plant focus on the remaining two stems instead. On the bright side-We now have our first clone :D ! On the main plant- as you can see one top was FIM'ed successfully and the other was cut too little and just mutilated the leaves, so it is now outgrowing the FIMmed stem. Will be topping that one in the next week or so and then try to FIM both stems one more time before it goes into flowering.

jeesus so the clone did not make it. after a few days it just toppled over and died. It was my first time attempting it and to be honest did not put much effort into it. Besides that, this girl is growing well. Attempting to train her in a way to redistribute the weight to account for the missing main stem. She has gotten too tall for me to tie down so i am bending and leaf-tucking her daily to try to get her to swing in that direction. All in all- quite pleased.

jeesus She's going well. Somehow i keep managing to find ways to hurt this girl tho. Snapped off the top of the main stem trying during LST so essentially re-topped her a node further down zz.

jeesus First pistils shown today on the 23rd of Jan! Officially flowering :). Will add PK supplements alongside with N next feed.

jeesus Well into flowering. Defoliated about 2 weeks ago but damn this girl has tight node spacing so makes it seem way more bushier than my other girls.
