Put the seed into a glass of tap water and kept it quite dark at around 22°C. After less than 24 hours, a small root became visible and I put the seed into a coco tab for it to fully germinate. After three days, a little seedling started to put its head through the soil.
09.04. - 15.04.
After the seedling started to put its head through the top of the soil, I decided to put the Jiffy into a pot of herbal and growing soil. I might have put the light too close to my little lady and kept her too wet as she started to become yellow while approaching the last days of its first vegetative weeks. Let's hope, she recovers soon.
16.04. - 22.04.
After waiting a few days and hoping for the best, I decided to put the little plant into its final container. A fabric pot filled with 100% BioBizz LightMix. After only one day, she clearly rewarded me with becoming greener and greener and finally starting to grow faster again.
23.04. - 29.04.
After placing the plant under a different growing light, she soon started to quickly produce new leaves and look healthier overall. I hope, she catches up before the ruderalis-genes kick in and send her into the flowering stage.
30.04. - 06.05.
This week focused on vegetative production of leaves. Even the first branches started to appear in the nodials. On 2nd May, I decided to water her for the first time since transplanting into the final medium. Growth is finally satisfactory for me and I cant wait for her to begin blooming.
07.05 - 13.05.
This week my little beauty received her first bit of nutrients. I decided to half the recommended amount and give her 1ml/L of BioBizz Bio-Grow along with 2 Liters of water. After she seemed to accept the little treat, I went on and let her undergo a tiny LST with the lowermost branches and removed the lowermost four leaves as they began to look bad.
On the last day of week five, the first signs of pre-flowers appeared! Finally the confirmation that she really is a girl!
14.05. - 20.05.
This week was mainly rainy and cloudy. Less than ideal conditions for the beginning of the flowering phase. However, she seemed to handle the water from above pretty solid. The pre-flowers kept on developing and at the end of the week, I think, there are signs of true flowers appearing on the top of this little bush.
Every time I go out on the balcony, I am amazed by the subtle smell. It makes me really look forward to the time after harvesting and drying her fruits.
