11-21
This is going to be the start of my next cycle. I have in paper towels germinating :
3 - White Widow #1 x G13 [Genuine Genetics]
3 - Green Starburst [7East Genetics]
1 - Chocolate Kush [Kropduster Genetics]
1 - Goji OG [Swgenetx]
1 - Blue Dream [Swgenetx]
I will be running Coco in 2gal fabric pots in flower. I will also be running a diy drip system to be able feed multiple times a day in flower and not have to hand water
11-23
Little less than 36 hours later and all but one has a tap root 1/4inch to 1/2inch long. They will be in Root Riot cubes in solo cups till the new batch of coco gets here today, the ill prepare the coco and fill up some cups and drop in the Riot cubes. Off to a good start
11-26
All are up except 1,ill see if she decides to turn up her leaves, cause right now she's a weird color and her leaves aren't fully out yet. They are under a 4 bulb 2ft T5 lamp in solo cups in Botanicare Cocogro Coco. Watering with approximately 60ml of 5.8 ph water and 1ml of Rapid Start, 1tsp of Oregonism XL per gallon of water till run off.
12-03
Off to a great start on all of these! Feeding using a sample of Green Leaf Nutrients Mega Crop at 5.8ph, ~300ppm, 1tsp OregonismXL once a week, 1ml/gal Calmag, and 1ml/gal Rapid Start. Will use the MC through out Veg.
12-05
Put them under the 500watt Metal Halide light today. They will be going into 1gal pots in a few days, then left to veg for a bit. Approximately 400ppm feed.
12-08
Transplanted them all from solo cups in to 1gal plastic pots. I didn't realize that a 1 gal nursery pot, a #1 pot and 1 gal fabric pot are not really all 1 gallon. The pots I put them in hold just a bit less than the 2gal fabric pots I bought to flower in, kinda sucks. Finishing the watering manifold in a couple of days, so I'll be able to test that out in veg.
12-10
Coming along good. The Goji OG is kinda struggling, I think it has some sort of mutation or deformity. Will probably top them in a couple of days. Feeding @ 500ppm,5.8ph
12-13
They've been topped, and just cruising along nicely. Accidentally dropped a hygrometer on one of the WWxG13, so had to kinda top her again but I'm sure she'll be fine.
12-16
All is going smooth in the tent still. They seem to be growing healthy with no deficiencies. Seem to be bouncing back from being topped quickly. Still putting together the autofeed system, having a hard time figuring out how I want it setup, but I'll finish it in a few days.
12-17
Still trucking along great. Switched light schedule down to 18/6, kicked lights up to 750watts. Gonna be flipping them around the end of month hopefully
12-19
Started doing some lst on some of the girls. They seem to be growing good still, except maybe the Goji and maybe one of the WWxG13. We'll see what happens a bit further down the road.
12-22
Built a platform for them to sit on till I get a 4x4 flood tray. I started to train them a bit to try and get some more tops on these girlies. Feeding at around 550-600ppm, @ 5.8ph and they seem to be doing well.
12-24 week 5 from seed, week 3 of veg
These girls are becoming very unrulyand bushing out alot except a couple. Tied down a bunch of branches on alot of them, will do a slight defoliation sometime in the next few days. Still feeding the same, @ 500ppm and 5.8ph. Roots are busting out the bottoms of the pots, which means I'll transplant before going in to flowering, even though I don't know how much good that'll do since the fabric pots are only slightly bigger than the plastic ones their in now.
12-27
They are all doing really well! I hope to have atleast 1 or 2 females out of the 6 regular strains. I plan on transplanting them one more time into the 1gal fabric pots, and then giving them a few days to recover then I'll flip them.
12-29
Transplanted all but one (ran out of coco) out of the plastic pots into 1gal fabric pots. Ended up killing off the Goji OG as she was just not doing well and even from the get go thought something wasn't quite right with her.
So my original plan for the auto feed system, after all built and ran through the testing, just had too many issues with leaks and also with a bad design. So I'll be modifying the original idea and incorporating some drip manifolds to get through this run and back to the drawing board.
01-02-19
First update of the new year! This year should be awesome. These girls are doing great, nice and healthy green color, they are starting to get their stank on a bit already. They have been tied down again yesterday night, I'm hoping to get a few more tops to pop up before they get flipped .
01-05-19
So, had to return the last pieces of the drip system, since they sent the wrong ones, but once they get here we'll be in business. The girls are doing well, starting to fill out a bit more every day. Feeding @5.8ph and 500-575pp/1.1ec. The lst is doing its thing and the tops are popping all over. I know I should probably flip by the end of the weekend, but I need my parts for the watering system first.
1-07-19
Flipped on the 6th, already sexed them I think, I'll give them a couple more days just to be safe, but I think out of the 6 regulars 2 are males. That's not too bad, as I planned on more males than females. I will be starting them on the Jack's Hydroponics next week and switching out the light to HPS after their stretch.
I also added some Flora Flex matrices to try and evenly distribute the feed through the pots and also a couple drip manifolds. I just have to dial in the feed times to feed 3 times during lights on. The first 2 feeds will not be to runoff but the last one will be like the flushing one.
01-10-19
Still trucking along nicely if I do say myself. Haven't had any issues that I didn't cause my self. Looking very healthy, getting a bit of a smell on them already.
01-13-19
Starting to show the start of bud sites! Thats what I like to see, that means the fun part is gonna start soon. Started them on the Jack's Hydroponics and Cal/Nit. Feeding @500-600ppm 6.0ph.
The timer that I bought to control my feeding times ended up not working, seems to be the norm with the system Ive put together, so got a new one and it will be here in a couple of days. Once the timer comes in I'll lower the feed to 300-350ppm and feed 2x a day for a few days then kick it to 3x a day
1-14-19
Starting week 2 of flower. Switching to HPS tonight.
1-17-19
Still looking great getting towards the end of the week. I think I got my watering times down, so that they get fed 3x when lights on, 2 of them aren't to run off, but the third one is to about 20%. So far things going good. Feeding around 350-400ppms,@ 6.0ph.
1-20-19
We're going into week 3(day 23)of flower and they are doing great. The auto feed system is working well I think. I've started to do a hand feeding at the end of the week(Sunday usually) to water in OrganismXL and to thoroughly soak the pot..
1-23-19
So I don't know if they have decided to take a break, but the past few days haven't shown that much growth, to my eyes anyway, especially for being on day 27. But they are healthy and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.
So I found out that the FloraFlex system is a high pressure system, so that's the reason I can't get even flow to all the plants, so I will be updating my pump to see how much it improves flow.
I also have been reading into organic growing in Coco, I think I might pick up some sort of organics to play with and see what it improves. So back to the research!
1-26-19
So the girls are looking healthy, so I did some defoliation to get alot of the lower stuff some light. I did alot more than I usually do to try and cut down on the popcorn buds. Also, my bigger pump came in and it works alot better to water them, now they evenly get watered.
1-28-19
They are looking great and healthy. I don't know if they are all just slow bloomers or what, but they seem really really small for going into week 4 (day 34)of bloom. Maybe these are going to take longer than 8 weeks.
1-30-19
Still feeding 2x a day @ 450-550 ppm, 5.9-6.1ph. They seem to be growing, even though it seems like they aren't. 1 WWxG13 is alot further then all of them, the Chocolate Kush stretched like crazy and her internodal spacing is insane. The Blue Dream is the smallest, which I didn't think would happen. This run is all over the place...
2-3-19
All still healthy and smelling up the tent going in to week 5. They are going through about 15 gallon of water every 4 or 5 days, still around 550-650ppm 3x during lights on @ 5.9-6.1ph.
2-5-19
This is the start of week 5,and the girls are doing good. Healthy, no deficiencies, no problems yet really. Gave them all a good flushing, watered in some Real Grower's Recharge and some OrganismXL.
Going to try some Geoflora dry Organic nutrients next run and see how they perform. I think I also want to get some more Organic inputs to see if that really makes a difference in the final product.
2-9-19
All seems to be growing well, except for the Blue Dream, she had a quick come on of P def or ca/MG, so they go Flushed, BD more, and reset. We'll see what happens. Smell is getting stronger everyday.
2-11-19 - D48F
Girls are doing good I think, bouncing back from a CA/MG Def. I Flushed them, and reset thir res with reduced Epsom and added some Grow more Bloom Cal/MG with no N. They are smelling up the place now, and starting to put out the frost. Hopefully they swell some more cause the buds are kinda small....
2-15-19
Well yesterday was a very interesting night. I was in the tent right before lights on, and I was looking over the girls and noticed something in the buds of my Chocolate Kush, and to my surprise I recognized it immediately, nanners 😭. So bagged up and tossed out, really didnt want to but had to to save the crop as a whole. Other than that they are doing well I think.
2-17-19
2-20-19
Still moving on with the flush. The smell is really strong now and getting better every day. They are looking beautiful, they are absolutely covered in Frost. Excited to see how they smoke!
2-28-19
This is going to be the last update till they come down this weekend
@Eauderay, I've definitely seen that trend going on myself. Im am on the hunt for a frosty strain that also yields atleast above average. Thanks for the comment!
