It is my first grow ever for any plant starting from the seeds. I was so happy to see them all 3 sprout after 4 days 😊 I will refer to this day as day 1 throughout the diary.

Everything looking good except one incident. One of the fellows grew very long and thin and suddenly fell over when I sprayed it with very little water. I was able to help it back up and decided to add some soil to support him. It‘s the first day I am putting them on the balcony for a few hours for some exposure. I wanted to buy some biobizz Grow and Bloom but it is very hard to get atm due to the legalisation here in Germany. When should I start adding fertilizer?

14 days after the germlings saw the daylight for the first time. Unfortunately the weather was quite cold, cloudy and rainy during the last week. Very little sun and they spent most of the time indoor. Also I think I gave a little too much water last time and had to remove some mould in one of the pots. Haven't been watering for at least 5 days. Except that the babies are looking good. The one that fell over before looks strongest and biggest of all.

The sun has come back and they spent quite some time outside. They have been growing well and I started to try some LST. But something is not right, there are stains on the leaves, an insect and more interesting creatures or shrooms. I don't know what to do.

Looks like a feather to me........pigeon down I would guess. Pick it up and throw it away if it is bothering you. Plant looks fine, growing outdoors you will have to deal with whatever nature sends your way. One bug is not a problem, it will probably fly away. A small hole or two is also ok.....no plant will ever have 100% perfect leaves, 100% of the time.

Plants are looking good and I think they recovered well from last week. Barely see insects or other weird things. I guess flowering is starting :-)

I overdid it with LST (week 5) and overbending caused a big crack in the main cola. The stem is still fixated down as seen in the picture and I wonder what to do next. going to sleep, leaving things as they are for the moment. in the video the leftmost plant is earlier that day

Really excited about the development and I am checking in all the time because it makes me happy just looking at them. Plants looking rly healthy to me now. As I really liked the way the LST was playing out on plant 2, I wanted to give plant 1 one more bend on the main cola but unfortunately I broke the stem and it didnt recover and fell off. Broke my heart but I hope for a quick recovery.

looking amazing :-) smell is less than expected so far. No issues with that yet (even it is legal I still don‘t want to bother my neighbors and one unfortunately has her bedroom window very close). I cut off very few leaves to give some buds more light exposure. I am planning to fertilize for maybe two more weeks, I guess harvesting should be around week 10? Last night there was a storm and I got home just in time and the second it started I was able to put them in a protected area so they could weather it.

There are some leaves turning bright and yellow. Its actually more yellow than it looks on the pictures. Is this a sign of some kind of deficiency or natural at this point? Would you cut them off?

Hello grout893, this is a Nitrogen deficiency indeed like the grower below mentioned. But not because you do not give enough but due nutrient lockout. Make sure that you provide the nutrient solution with a pH 6.2 value during this phase of the grow. When the pH is too high or low you will get nutrient lockouts like this one. You can best use Biobizz Bio pH- and use a cheap pH tester to prevent nutrient in the future. Happy Growing! 💚

To all of the people answering to my noob questions: Thank you guys a lot! Some leaves started to turn yellow and people mostly said it was due to the lack of nutrients which makes a lot of sense. We had another very rainy week here in Germany and as it was raining so much I was not watering. As I give my food with the water, there was no food and probably all the rain also washed away the remaining fertilizer... I will just translate a quote from the "DWD" (official german weather service): "Germany is experiencing the wettest twelve-month period since measurements began. The German Weather Service (DWD) has analysed its nationwide measuring stations and found that Never since 1881 has Germany had such a wet twelve months as in the period from July 2023 to June 2024." I could put the plants in a protected place when it rains a lot next time and continue feeding.

Lots of leaves have turned yellow and I cut them off. People said it was due to lack of nitrogen or nutrient lockout but I have the impression that the plants are just getting ready for harvest. When is harvest time. As I am going on vacation for 2 weeks in 7 days, ideally I would like to only give water for another week and then cut them off and hang them for drying.

Looking really good, the smell got stronger but I actually like it, its not too much. Final day of giving fertilizer, I will be on vacation for two weeks and probably harvest right after. In the meantime just water. What do you think when harvest will be? I wonder if that is mold on one of the buds, looks like spider webs.

What is this on the top left of the image? Could it be mold?

Hey, no this kind of mold evolves inside of buds, with bad circulation and light. Doesnt look like spider webs, the structure is way to random to be any kind of web. Looks like hairs of an animal tbh, maybe some mutation? i wouldnt worry about it. If you have a microscope you could check it there. Overall i wouldnt worry for now Enjoy the Weekend and grow mate!

Only water since 11 days. I bought a cheap digital microscope but wasnt really able to make good pictures with it yet. Cutting off 2 leaves made it a bit easier, it looks like there are some amber trichomes already but also still fresh pistels growing. Do you think I can already harvest? I will try to make some better pictures later today.

I gave my best with the cheap microscope I have and it looks like there are amber trichomes. I am bit confused though because there are also fresh pistils. So... can I chop now? Should I water one last time or is there anything else to consider?

Never take the trychoms of leaves and sugar leaves as reference, only the ones on the buds. Also your plant will get more calyx the next two weeks so don't chop too early.

No, they not amber they are simply damaged and started to oxidate. Your plant has plenty of time
