First DIY Grow: Special Queen 1#

Slightly light green edges of the leaves but grew quickly.

Found ti pretty difficult to water such small plant in a big pot but got it right I think. Still perceived the leave color as very light.

Plant is doing so well! Had a slight fungus gnat plague, but got it under control pretty quickly by using Neem oil when watering. Plant dealt very well with the topping and only showed slow growing for one day after. Then it literally exploded.

LST every day and made adjustments until all the branches were aligned perfectly star shaped. Unfortunately snapped one branch but its veins still work so far and the tip is growing. Really happy with the plant so far. Just applied water, because the AllMix has still lots of nutrients. Will change that next week.

I was one week away (Week 5) Day 36: This plant is just amazing! Super easy to grow and only needs the minimal maintenance I guess. It still feeds from the All-Mix and doesn't get any fertilizers. The color of the leaves indicate that this is still enough. It thrives vigorously and has so many shoots now. I still try to train down the branches every two days and did strong defoliation in the centre to ensure that all shoots receive the same amount of light. I wonder if my tent is high enough...

Day 43: Plant looks healthy still. Growth has become somewhat slow recently. Actually I appreciate it as I have to wait with flipping until the autos in the tent are done... Stil no signs of need for food. BioBizz All-Mix seems to be fertilized super heavily.... Won't use it again for sure. Heard to handle nutrients. Day: 46: 2-3 middle-aged leaves show brown spots between veins and after that pretty quickly necrosis. 2-3 younger leaves show light interveinal chlorosis. Assumption: pH is slightly off. This can also be the case of Nitrogen is absorbed quickly, resulting in a pH drop in the soil. Additionally, our tap water has enough calcium but not enough manganese. I decided to add 3ml/l CalMag which also contains all other essential micro nutrients. I started to feed light portions (1ml/l) grow fertilizer and every two waterings Bloom+Top Max to prevent potassium and phosphorus deficiency. Run off pH was still 7.2 which would underline my theory.

Sorry Guys, I skipped a few weeks as I was super, super busy. The Queen turns out to be a monster! Her growth is absolutely stunning and exploded when I decided to repot her into a 18l classic plastic pot. The All-Mix I planted her in again boosted growth. 4 days later I flipped her to 12/12. Pre flowering showed itself approximately 5 days later. Since then she started to stretch and the branches got more firm and woody. I'm super happy with the ScrOG net in combination with the little LST Clips I bought. I managed to established a pretty even canopy with many many bud sites. When pre flower started I cut of at least 12 shoots that wouldn't have a chance. I also applied heavy defoliation and lollipopped the lady. Since then she does so well and didn't slow down for a second! :-)

That's it. The flavor is great after a few weeks of hardening out. Ripped tons in bowl so far :-) Good and super smooth smoke in a reefer. Perfect for vaping too, massive trichomes. Effect: Cerebral high, and slightly calming. Happy state and very late munchies/sleepiness. This first grow changed my life, to be honest. Really abbandoned alcohol and found such joy and fulfillment in this beautiful hobby with this beautiful plant. I am just happy how this all changed my life.
