It's day 17(Dec9) and my leaves have a strange discoloration. I can't seem to find out the problem. I have uploaded a picture of how it looks in detail Under week3. Only the older leaves have it with the oldest having the most discoloration.
Hello ! In general I'm careful about pest diagnosis but your leaves seems to have irregular silver spots ( can also be bronze spots ) which is a sign of a thrips attack and a light burnt would have ceeate brown dry parts on the leaves. Take a look under your leaves and try to find bugs or eggs , if you have some then treat with Insecticidal soap or neem oil ( both to spray on the leaves). I hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼
So turns out I have some tiny bugs under the leaves and little black spots that look like eggs.
@spinnergrow Thankss a lot :D
Just ordered some organic neem oil. And there don't seem to be any brown spots.
@CRiSPrGrow,So I could not find a single seller for live ladybugs in my area. Still gonna try to find a seller, or maybe I'll just see if I can trap some from my garden 😂
@letitgrow, ha , when there's no food i guess they leave or they die, but they dont stick to the plant and don't go inside the bud to die. wont affect the taste no... fully bio + it actually works !
@OutForReal,I mixed one tea spoon for 250 ml warm water. I don't wanna risk making it too strong yet. just sprayed some today. hope to see some improvement! Thankss
hey man you have two main problems at the same time, first the LEDs are too close which is causing that cupping from the light stress. Second you have PH fluctuations because your PH is too low which leads to fluctuation when the soil buffers the PH up to 6.5. This make it appear like you have bugs or calcium deficiency. So what you can do is raise the leds to 12 inches and PH up the water to 6.5 or 6.0. Hope this helps my friend ! 🚀
@CRiSPrGrow, My bad. The pH is 6.2
I am using biobuzz Light mix soil so I hope and assume that there shouldn't be any ph or nute problems yet. Gonna start with Alga Bloom after this week(day25or maybe day30)
And also just raised the LED higher. Thankss a lot :D
