Banana Purple Punch Auto - Organic Outdoor / Fast Buds
This grow will be outdoor, it's very cold here because we are at the beginning of winter, short days, it's not a good time for autos in Brazil but it is what It is.
Last time I grew this strain I ended up locking the plants due to excess nutrients, I hope this time I got the soil mix right.
The little one is coming on well apparently.
On the 5th day I noticed some marks on the small leaves so I did a light application with neem just in case.
On 7th day I applied a homemade FAA that I made with whole saltwater fish, organic brown sugar and some rainwater that I used to grind the fish with the sugar. This mixture has been fermenting for just over 3 months and I used a dilution of approximately 2ml/L - foliar and soil!
I'm sorry for any typos, my english sux!
Starting second week!
On the 10th day I noticed some yellows aphids so I sprayed neem oil on it, this soil was reused from another crop, and my backyard has many other plants so all this contributes to pests being common. It's not the best growing conditions, but some growing is better than none 😅
I have been watering the plant every other day, with approximately 100ml's of rainwater.
On the 14th day I applied my homemade FAA at night, 2ml/L.
Third week begins!
An interesting thing that I noticed on the 16th day, when rubbing my finger on the leaves I clearly smell what here in Brazil we call "goiabada", outside Brazil I don't know what they call it, maybe it's what you know as guava cheese or something like that. Apparently this one is going to have a very interesting terpene profile, I'm struck by a smell like this in such a young plant. I can't wait for flowering! 😋
On the 17th day, neem oil was sprayed on the plant to prevent pests and then I watered it with Bokashi, I did a more voluminous watering with about 400ml because I noticed the bottom of the pot very dry.
On the 20th day I ended up putting some earthworms from my compost to improve the quality of the soil and made a new ground cover with some bone meal, chicken manure and worm humus, then I did a good watering with rainwater.
BPP started the fourth week showing potential, the plant is thick, vigorous, I start to regret not having put it in a bigger pot.
On the 25th day I applied my homemade FAA in the morning, 2ml/L.
On the 27th day the cultivation of up to 6 female marijuana plants was decriminalized in Brazil, as well as the possession of up to 40g 🙌
On the 28th day I made a new mixture of soil with bone meal, dolomitic limestone and bokashi, I used some perlite for the aeration too.
Week six!
Pre-flowering stage!
The plant continues to grow very wel, apparently it will have a very good flowering, I'm spraying colloidal silver on one of the lower branches in order to get some pollen, I have other bananas to pollinate.
7th Week!
I'm amazed at the growth of this plant, absolutely wonderful!
On the 47th day I noticed some pink hairs, the plant is more beautiful and vigorous every day!
On the 48th day I added a new soil mix superficially as the substrate had shrunk, the plant ate well in the last few days! I used a simple substrate base with peat moss, perlite, soil and added bone meal, bokashi, wood ash and a little magnesium sulfate, after putting the mixture in the pot I watered it with 5ml's of banana KNF mixed with rainwater.
10th week begins!
Only water.
My cat is in love with this plant 😻😹
This week, just like last week, I wasn't able to take many photos because I had some commitments to, so I was away from home.
11th week
Only water.
The plant starts to fade a little... the smell is increasing.
My dog, as well as the cats, is also very interested in the plant 😅
12th week begins, the last week!
The plant has some purple leaves, it is a little suffering from the attack of pests outdoors and the weather which was not very favorable, these last few days were very cold, a little rainy, 6 degrees Celsius in Brazil is VERY cold but even so the plant produced beautiful buds.
Harvested!
I finally harvested this girl, unfortunately it couldn't be grown in the best conditions, but as far as possible the result was more than satisfactory. I was forced to harvest at 84 days due to the increase in some pests, the trichomes were already very amber so it was the right time.
