Running at the same time in the other tent we have Elev8's Apple Candie. I've actually had another strain that is the same cross under a different strain name. That one was Apple Runtz by Cloud Cover. So definitely excited to have Elev8's version. All the diaries on here with Apple Candie look great, and I hope to replicate some of their results. As with the Nanaz in the other tent, she went straight into a 10 gallon pot after germination. Will be keeping the watering tight around the base of the plant for the first couple weeks to build that root ball.
Same as what I said with the Nanaz, just letting them grow up for right now. Over watered them on Thursday, and they hated me for it. As with the Nanaz, starting to see some node growth, but still too small to get excited about just quite yet, but the pics will show it next week.
Not much to report for this week. VPD is staying between 1.00 and 1.10 kPa. I think the soil is a bit hot, which is why I'm getting really light colored newer growth. I plant in a 75/25 ratio of Happy Frog and Ocean forest. I mix 50/50 together and fill the bottom half of the pot with the blend of the two, then fill the rest of the way up with just Happy Frog. I think her roots got down to the Ocean Forest mix too early. This will probably be the last time I do a blend. Think I'm gonna just do the Happy Frog next time.
Topped the girls this week. Feeding is next week. Have an issue with humidifier in other tent. This ones fine, but I did let the water run out in both humidifiers, and niether plant loved me for it. Got some taco-ing on the nanaz. This girl seems to be nutrient sensitive, she still doesnt like the ocean forest soil. Hopefully, as these branches grow out she starts feeding instead of complaining. She probably won't be getting the terp tea this round. Still gonna top dress though...its slow release... so I dont't think she's gonna complain too much...but My wife and I have decided, after our rent went up by 50%... that its time to move. So unfortunately, going to have to rush these plants and switch them to flower earlier than I was planning. I at least managed to save them the fate of getting chopped. But I was planning an 8 week veg....but looking like a 4-6 week veg.
This tent is running like a dream compared to my other 2x2. She seems to be a bit of a runt. Not sure if it's grower error or just the phenotype. Turned her light schedule up from 18-6 to 20-4 to try and get the most out of the limited time I have left to veg these girls.
Well, this update is coming wayyy after the fact. As I mentioned in another post, wife and I were in the market for a house. Well...we found a house! We closed on it a couple months ago, and with all the confusion and moving, didn't come and update either grow diaries. Unfortunately, due to the distance of the move it wasn't feasible to bring the plants. We also didn't have anyone that we knew that could adopt them either. So with a heavy heart, I had to cull them. Gave them a little "party" and sat and smoked with them, then cut them down...
With that being said, I am currently in the process of getting the new spot wired and planned out for future grows! Still gonna be running two 2'x2' AC Infinity tents for now, however I am considering getting another 2'x2' or even a 2'x4'. I don't need a ton of plants going at once, at least not at the moment as I'm only growing for personal. But one day I would like to try my hand at breeding.
So for now, there wont be any updates until I can get the new place set and a new round of seeds going. Next run is going to have to be Purple Lemonade by Fastbuds, because I'm running out! (lol)
