Usually the DKC-Auto sits on my windowsill. Only when the sun is strong and temperatures on my balcony rise up around 20°C I put it outside. Waiting for the weather to shift to summer until I put it outside on the balcony for good.
Addition:
I added another seedling (also Double Kush Cake Auto) to the crew and they live part time on my eastward windowsill and part time on my westward balcony. My First Lady got the tips of her first leaves burnt, but she’ll get bigger nonetheless. I moved my First Lady pretty early into her final home, but the soil before wasn’t good (big wooden particles, no good drainage, very dense after some watering and started to rot because of potential overwatering) so I had to change something. Now both plants live in fairly big pots around 5-10l and have a mixture of seedling soil with standard soil, perlite and vermiculite.
In week 2 my Second Lady surpassed the First Lady, which seems to have difficulties to adapt to her new home. First Lady came out of bad soil that was overwatered. Hope she recovers quickly. The other two plants 🌱 got put into their final pot directly after the seed sprouted. I hope to impose less stress on those two plants by not moving them. Each seed got sprouted with a week of delay from the one prior to it.
The Second Lady develops great. The First Lady is almost dead. I don’t really know why. At first I thought it’s overwatering and the bad soil I used at first, but I don’t see that she recovers since the first week.
The Third Lady will be named Nemo, like the fish from the animated movie, because one of the leafs didn’t develop good. She is still getting stronger every day.
The First Lady didn’t make it. The Second Lady is going strong as you can see in the pictures. The third lady had some parasite eating inside the leaves…she is still pretty behind, even though she is just a week younger than the Second Lady.
My Second Lady is flowering now and going strong. She grew a lot last week and looks very healthy. I’m excited to see how she develops. I started LST for the Third lady, since she was still small and flexible. I’m curious how this turns out.
The third lady is starting to flower now as well. I didn’t continue the LST so I doubt that it’ll have a lot of impact…
The Second Lady is going strong and grew a bunch again. The flowers are all over the place and looking nice and beautiful. 2-3 leafs on the bottom did curl up and got dry tips. Maybe a lack of mobile nutrients. All in all she looks good so I don’t overreact now.
My ladies are doing well. The Second Lady’s flowering is proceeding and now I can see white trichomes shimmering on the surface of the flower. The third lady is also doing good and started to flower some time ago, but she can’t quite keep up with my Second Lady.
