Ordered the seeds from Sensi and as soon as they arrived they went in the pot on June 1st. In the 4 pots á 35L went a total of 150L soil. I dug the middle of the pot a little and filled it with cultivation soil (Nullachtfünfzehn Anzuchterde) where the seed went in. Watered all of them and covered with plastic foil. I made holes with a hot needle into the foil to prevent frying the seeds. Three days later on June 3rd the seedlings were breaking through the surface. Well three of them. One did not make it. The next day the pots with the succesfull sprouts made their way to the greenhouse.

Week one. Checking out the plants multiple times a day. Watering with groundwater whenever soil feels dry, aprox. every two days. On day 4 one of the girls got dug up probably by a squirrel. I put it back in place and watered. It seems to have recovered well. Day 6: Watered each pot with 1L groundwater Day 7: A little growth can bee seen except plant no.2 which appears to be same. No need for water as the soil seems to be still dry. Weather was partly sunny today thankfully after a night with freezing temperatures around 13°C. It seems this night will be cold again. Hoping for better weather with lots of sun during the upcoming week 2

The second week has welcome the ladies with a fairly sunny day. The weather forecast tells the coming days will be mostly the same. Let's hope for even better ;-) The plants were not watered today but may have gotten some sprinkles while watering the vegetation around in the greenhouse. I think they look a little grown and quite healthy. Even no 2 seems to show positive changes even if it's little. Day 9: no watering, I'm gonna let them get thirsty little bit. Heard that thirst makes the roots stretch Day 10: 🌥️ unfortunately today almost no sunshine, pots feel dry, probably gonna water tomorrow Day 11: ☀️ good sunny weather today, in the morning I prepared a 1/20 from my nettle leachate (Brennesseljauche) and served 500ml each. Prost! Day 12: still moist, no watering today. I stuck a bamboo stick into the soil and it came out pretty moist. I'm not gonna water for a few days until I see more drought. Tallest plant is 11cm Day 13: 🌦️ unfortunately another rainy day but the plants seem to be growing. No. 3 has its leavetips curled up for a few days now. No idea why 🤔 Day 14: 🌦️ today was hot (~27°C) with some decent sunshine but still cloudy. I'm happy with the growth of the plants. They seem to gain momentum now at the end of week two

Week 3 now. The plants are getting a good grow. The weather forecast predicts three upcoming rainy days but after that the sun will come back. I am planning to apply topping and LST to each of two plants. One plant will be left untrained. I will be doing this to experiment and see how each training feels. Day 15: 🌥️ Cloudy day. Plants look fine in my eyes. Tomorrow I will check the moisture of the medium with a wooden stick. Day 16: ⛅ Another cloudy but warm day. Plants look fine. The wooden stick came out almost dry. Last watering was in D11. Probably going to water tomorrow again with nettle leachate. Day 17: 🌧️ Rainy day... I have the feeling the plants are begging for sun. I wished they were little bigger but at least they seem healthy. Medium feels dry but I will water tomorrow. Also thinking about applying the announced trainings. Day 18: 🌦️ No pictures on this day. Went to public viewing 😉 I gave them ladies 500ml of 1/10 nettle leachate. Medium was dry and hydrophobe. Made sure the water got absorbed properly. Also plant no. 3 got topped ✂️ Day 19: 🌞 Sun smiled down on us today and the next days will be even better. Plants look fine. I applied LST to plant no. 1 and 3. Within a few hours the ladies reacted to the training already 💪🏼 Number 2 will stay untrained. I go to check the plants whenever I can. I love 'em. Day 20: 🌞 In the morning I readjusted LST. On plant 3 some sexy preflowering can be seen. Close-up photo will follow. Medium feels moist. Probably gonna water in 2 days again if the weather stays well. Day 21: 🌞 Last day of week 3. I readjusted the LST and checked moisture with wooden stick. Soil is still little bit moist. Bonus: picture of preflower

What do you think about my LST technique? I was struggling litte bit because the plant grew rather high. Perhaps they got less light when younger. Any opinions about what I could improve?

You’re not actually doing any lst. The top of the plant should be pulled down. You can either let the branches grow out more and then pull them down. Another way would be to tie a rope or plant tape from the pot to the center of the plant. That will be used as a brace. Now pull the top down in opposite direction of were you tied to the pot.

I would wait until they're a little taller. I look for developed side branches and sometimes there's an opening that's that could be filled. Try to imagine it similar to landscaping lol. Sometimes lst helps develop side branches as well. But I normally wait until she's older so that there's more to play with. At this point you'll grow a sideways plant rather than trained. There need to n intent. Practice and envision. Her do you want which nramh to be the main ar what time. You got this. I have a decent amount o training in my grows and diaries

You should better bend down the two branches down on the second node, that are longer... The ones on the top are too little yet for LST, wait 2-3 days... Another thingh: what is exactly your plan ? You can use a mainling technique, that use only two branches.. Or you can use 4 branches, burt here I see 6 branches, so maybe you should cut something more ? Have a nice grow ! 😊

Week 4 will be not consistently sunny but I hope for the best. Day 22: 🌞 Readjusted the LSTs according to the suggestions from the replies to my question. The surface of the soil is dry but a few centimeters below feels wet. Day 23: 🌦️ Mostly sunny day with some rain. I watered each plant with 1L 1/10 nettle leachate and readjusted LST Day 24: 🌞 I readjusted LST and added some more stakes for the lower branches on plant no 3. Plant no 1 looks sad. I hope it will recover from the "training". Added stickers against parasites. Also ordered neem oil because the plants have some bugs. Day 25: ⛅ Fairly sunny day but rainy days are ahead. Today again I readjusted LST and added more training stakes. Plant no 1 got some leaves removed to grant more light to the budsites that are coming up from the side. I was worriing about plant no 1 but I think it will be better now. In the evening I sprayed the plants witha 1/100 neemoil mixture because some leaves show damage from parasites. No watering since last time (day 23). Medium still feels moist under the surface. Day 26: 🌧️ No pictures today. Unfortunately bad weather Day 27: 🌥️ Little bit sun today. Medium seems to be little bit moist. Probably going to water tomorrow. It seems the plants are entering flowering stage 🤔 I hoped for a bigger growth before flowering but perhaps I won't get it.

Haven't been updating my journal for a while. I was distracted by the EURO2024. But of course I was watching my plants closely. They have entered the flower phase. Plant #3 got a split on the main stem. I left it as it is because taping in that area would've been little complicated. She is doing good so far. Last watering was on day 31. Day 33: ☀️ Good sunny day. I elevated plant #3 (topped and LST) to a higher position to get little bit more sun. Day 34: ☀️ God gifted us with another sunny day. I keep readjusting the stakes as the plants are stretching. Today I moved plant #1 to a higher spot in the greenhouse to catch more sun. In the evening I sprayed the plants generously with neemoil solution (1/100). Day 35: ☀️ It was a hot day. I keep the door and windows fully open in the greenhouse but the temperature is around 35°-40° degrees. I think I have a spider mites problem. I will spray the plants with neem oil again tomorrow.

Day 36: 🌤️ Another sunny day with little rain. Plant #2s pot feels light and I'm going to water that one tomorrow. In order to fight pests I have removed infected cucumber plants from the greenhouse and have sprayed everything vigorously with neemoil solution (1/100). I'm optimistic. Let's see. Pictures will follow. Day 37: ☀️ I watered plant #2 with approx. 4L of nettle leachate (1/3). I ordered PH testers so next watering and runoff will be tested. I have the feeling that the neemoil reduced the amount of bugs in the greenhouse. I'll keep an eye on that. I am worried about bud rot. The temperature is quite high in the greenhouse and the humidity as well I think. Weather sites say that humidity is around 80%. Greenhouse must be higher. I will measure this as well and see. Day 38: 🌤️ I put a hygrometer in the greenhouse it shows around 40% humidity which seems too good to belive but ok. Day 39: 🌤️ Soil of plant #1 and #3 are getting dry. I'm going to water tomorrow. I have bought some ph test strips too. My water from the well has a high ph, around 8. I planning to reduce it with citric acid. Day 40: ⛅ Today I watered each plant with 5L of nettle leachate (1/5). I used water from the tap and reduced the ph to around 4 using citric acid. The runoff water had a ph around 6. Day 41: 🌦️ Hot and humid weather with some rain. Noticed a browning on leaves of plant #1. Most likely the watering had too low ph. Other plants are fine. Day 42: 🌦️ Last day of week 6. Added a picture of the brown leaves. I plucked the most damaged one. I haven't adjusted the training stakes for some days.

Day 43: ☀️ Plucked some brown leaves from plant #1. Did some defoliation on plant #3 to open up bud sites. Day 44: ☀️ Flushed plant #1 with 5L tap water (ph ~8) and measured runoff ph around 6. Plant #2s pot felt light and got watered 5L of tap water mixed with nettle leachate (1/2). Plant #3's pot felt little bit heavier and will be watered tomorrow. Day 45-47: ☀️ Mostly sunny and hot days. They are blooming and becoming thicker every day. Plant #1 and #2 got some leaves plucked to let increase sunlight on budsites and increase airflow. All plants got some watering with nettle juice 5L (1/2). I added some weight to plant #1's main branch to even out the canopy. Plant #2 is showing some deficiency on some leaves. I assume N deficiency, if I read the deficiency chart correctly. I will just continue with the nettle juice and try to keep an eye on the ph levels. Hoping to harvest in around one month ☝️

Day 51: Buds are getting thicker and frostier every day. Haven't watered since Day 47 since pots feel little heavy still. I don't know whats wrong with #2s leaves. The bigger and older ones are getting yellow. For now I will not change anything. They'll be thirsty in around 2-3 days I think. Next update will be in one week.

Day 60: Came back after around 8 days. Plants were watered once from the well by family. They are dry again and need water. Unfortunately there is one bud with rot. Exactly and only this bud was covered directly by another big fan leave of neighboring plant (pictures taken after I bound aways the neighbor plant). I assume that's the reason for the rot. Other buds look ok, but I will keep monitoring for signs of rot. I'm going to cut that bud away. Day 61: ☁️ In the morning I cut away the rotten bud. Inspected the bud, definetly rot :( Hope that others are fine. Any advice on if I cut enough or should I cut more? Wait and see? Humidity varies 55%-68% with temp around 23°-30°C. I watered all of the plants with 5L tap water. Measured ph of tap water to be ~6 and runoff to be also ~6. Looks fine to me. Probably give some nettle juice next time. I remove some yellow leaves from plant #2. I defoliated, opened up bud-sites and some other "density producing" leaves to increase airflow on plant #1 and #3.

Were some turbulent days. The budrot spread and I had to remove more buds. I took the plant to my balcony where it's separated from the others and has more airflow. Unfortunately she got wet from the rain once and that's when I cut away some bud again. I also harvested some buds that were next to rotting ones but didn't show any symptoms so far. I am aware of mold and probably will take plant #1 to my balcony too. #2 is doing fine. I watered today on day 67. I gave 7L each with some coffee grounds. Mixture was 7 ph, water running of measured a ph of 7. Took pictures today but they turned out bad. Better pictures will follow. However here is a close up bud shot of #2 🏼 Day 68: took plant #2 also to the balcony. Around one yellow leaf on the top of the plant I noticed some brown and chopped the head off. Maybe it wasn't mold. #3 got watered with plain water ph was 7. I hope they get a little thicker before I chop 'em. #1 is little behind in terms of bud ripedness. It's still not finished producing hairs and getting denser. Pictures will follow.

Probably some CalMag deficiency on the plants. #3 is stunted it seems. Pot feels heavy while other two pots soak up the juice and feel lighter after some days. #1 is still in the greenhouse. It keeps producing new buds or is foxtailing evenly over all buds. I will take her to the balcony soon too. Just waiting for better weather.
