Greetings!
As my Easy Buds are slowly reaching the finishing lines, with three of them on the verge of flushing and the other two a few weeks left to go, I decided to begin germinating the next Generation.
As before, I germinated the seeds directly in substrate, from my experience this is a few days slower than using the paper towel or a glass of water method, but I prefer it anyways since I do not have to touch the opened seed in any form whatsoever, it can just gently relax directly there, where its gonna grow anyway, and for the most I have been pretty successful with that. 4 of 4 seeds germinated after about 4 days.
I try to make sure, that the seeds have a very humid and warm environment while germination. I didn't top the seeds with a glass from above like others do, but I'm thinking about trying that out soon.
The Plan for this Grow is very different from the most recent Grow:
– First time trying extensive LST on all Plants.
– I will be a little harsher to the Plants, keeping them outside 99% of the time and not restraining them in a tent.
– I'm aiming for plants on the larger side, therefor I drastically increased the amount of Soil used from 11l to about 20l per Plant.
– I'm using a different Soil this Run: Its a mix of BioBizz's All Mix and Light Mix, I build a basis of all mix on the bottom of the plant bag and topped it off with Light Mix Soil for the time, when the plant is in germination and/or growing in the first weeks, so that It will not be flooded by the All Mix Nutrients. That might be stupid, but at the time of making this, I think that's an O.K. Idea.
Let's pray for good weather with these girls.
Hi party people!
My stinky girls are looking wonderful, despite being out in the cold most of the time.
Right now we are dealing with night temperatures of around 10 degrees celsius, which is the absolut minimum I will leave the plants outside at.
I'm hoping for better weather the coming days.
I think judging from the height and the small leaves forming, they are in a good condition, they became a little larger, because the soil sank alot and they are having a hard time growing above the plant bag.
Stay tuned! The coming weeks will be really interesting.
Week II:
* The first real leave pair has arrived, you can see a node building as well.
* Very warm weather conditions of 24C upwards most of the time and ALOT of sun, I'm rather sad that they don't have the capacity yet to use most of the sun.
* No added Nutrition only tap-water.
* Increase in size of about 5cm.

To be honest, not much happened, I really like the color of my younglings, other than that there is not much to tell here.
I will be beginning Low-Stress-Training end of the week or later, at the moment the stem is not strong enough.
Really looking forward to seeing them grow larger. Hopefully they do.
What's up y'all
As you can see I've been trying to train my plants this week. It's more difficult than expected, considering i don't have the usual bucket, where I could fixate some wire.
I switched to using wood sticks, which I punched a small hole through so that i can knot the wire there. Most of the Plants are already developing a third node, some only have two.
Other than the LST, which is quiet the uncertainty for me, the plants are growing healthy and well.
To be honest, even though I didn't notice anything, I'm sure I damaged the plants more than I should while doing the LST.
I'm lacking experience here: if anyone has some tips for this exact use case, that would be more than welcome.
Let's see if they take the training or not, worst that could happen is that the main cola is growing tall as usual.
No Smell, No difference in watering, we had some mixed weather, but also a lot of sun and some rain showers - cannot complain about that.
If you haven't already check out my other diary where I did my first harvest ever on my Easy Buds.
See you next week :)
Wassuppp!!
4th week of life for my little plants.
As you can see, I have changed my plans concerning the LST on my plants. I've decided to try to open them up more, instead of just stretching the main cola horizontally.
While doing LST a few days ago, I accidently ripped of the top of one of my plants. Looks like the LST has turned to a HST 😂😂.
Nonetheless I'm quite happy, as throughout the whole pinching and squeezing, the plants still look great and healthy.
I'm excited for the next few weeks, the first signs of flower are beginning to show. If I could choose, I would have loved to keep them in this vegetative state for a few more weeks.
Starting next week I will be providing some more nutritions and additional support for the diesels. I ordered a little something from eBay that will arrive in time and I hope my plants are up for it.
New Week, New updates:
A lot has happened: the little girls already went into flowering, small as they are they began forming long buds.
What i changed/introduced this week:
- Sprayed with GA3 (Gabalinacid) (Trying out some cheap PGR from eBay).
- Plant growth of about 20cm.
- Introduced Bio Bizz Nutritions.
- Small buds forming, some LST adapting better than others, the HST one is the most promising, as I expected. Let’s see. I will get rid of the constraints forming the LST this week and will let the main cola develop as well as the side notes as is.
See you.
