Okay guys I decided to do another video update for the CC strain. We are going into flush and all is well this strain and it packs on some fat frosty colas! CHECK out the video!
@BigDaddyK, honestly im terrible with smells.. all i can say is this this reeks of straight dankness. so the "dank" adjective is the best i can use to describe it, sorry im not better at this ๐
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, @DabCrab i just had typed a big response and for some reason it didnt post.. so im gonna try this again the best i can as im pretty stoned. so b4rns pretty much has it right about the single strain diaries and such but i think @growdiaries may be able help us out with this. my issue with Dabcrabs statements about wattage is say my 1 plant on the far left sharing a 2 cobs with another plant taking up a 2'x4' area is only getting maybe 30% MAX of my big fixture in the middle because there is only 2 cobs on the left side of that fixture that could have any impact on the plants under the other fixture and the thing with COBs with the reflectors on is that they are light a beam of light and shoot straight down with minimal spread. maybe 12" of usable light because they suggest putting cobs every 12" on your frame but that is too expensive for my budget so i spaced 4 them 18" i believe around the 4'x4' frame and then 4 very tight in the middle for germination/veg but these 4 lights are in NO WAY effecting the aforementioned plants ect. and especially to add up the MARS Led thats like 6 feet away from this aforementioned plant is just ludicrous. so my plan for now is to not include the watts in my grows unless @growdiaries has a problem with that. i feel this is the easiest way to resolve this issue but that would still leave the issue if others think the way i do.... goodnight guys ๐
yeah @BigDaddyK, i mean i understand why its there but it should really be an optional thing in the diaries. i mean in outdoors do they put the watts of the sun?!?!? NO....................๐
@Tripaholic88,bro don't worry , it's a minor technical detail, the whole point of this site is to share pictures and ideas. I personally don't give a rats ass how many watts / lumens / pixie elves , just as long as you trying , don't lose any sleep I got ya back bro
Judging from your diaries you have posted and the setup you are using I have deduced that your tent is running 8 100W LED's that consume 40 - 60 actual watts totaling for at the very least 350 - 400 watts on your LED rack. The two ballast I've seen also consume around 50 watts a piece so thats another 100 watts. Thats at the very least for that. 1 mars hydro Reflector 48 which consumes 100 watts. I've seen 2 Mars Hydro 96 Reflectors which consume 200 watts a piece totaling for another 400 watts. 1 Mars hydro Reflector 192 which consumers 400 watts. That puts your total grow space for this plant and many of your other grows at around 1400 - 1500 watts when you include in the fans shows. Most likely much more power is consumed. I've also seen some of your setup using hydroponics. You need to be adding the wattage into the power consumption as well. Not to be a hater but all of your diaries are very inappropriately calculated in regards to your wattage consumption drastically effecting you Grams/Watt. Even if you were dividing your wattage by the number of plants you are growing at once you are still way way off for your power consumption (which for the record is not what you do, it'd be incorrect to do that). I'm genuinely hoping you have made a consistent and gross error on all of your journals. You are supposedly a top ranked Master grower on this site so I'm genuinely confused as to how no one has mentioned this before.... Everyone needs to understand that your grow information on all your grows is incorrect. You are violating the Terms of Service for Grow diaries.
@KonopCh, OH I so agree, but most people don't even know that. Most people just buy a light and go 'herp a derp, grow light'. I'm a horticulture student so I literally have textbooks about this and an almost completed education in regards to it so I'm a bit of a snob about it. (Sorry, I suck). Most people just use simple math and get it way way wrong to no fault of their own. Honestly most people are just trying to grow their own medicine and they don't care about any of that at all not realizing they are growing some amazing buds that would probably only test at the 15 to 20% range for THC-A when the strain is supposed to yield in the range of 25 - 30%. The worst part is you have to have perfect conditions to grow a proper CBD and CBG strain which hurts me because a lot of people are just going off the looks and feels of things instead of the science behind it. I want people to grow good medicine and do so properly. It just comes off as me being a terrible person (because I kind of am....)
@DabCrab, just a quick tip: if you have 3000K 80CRI COBs, then simply divide reading from LUX meter with 69. And you get pretty accurate PAR readings within +/-10%, which is waaaay cheaper than 150โฌ PAR meter. And accuracy is good enough for 95% people.
@KonopCh, Sorry, PAR. I don't like to include mathematical functions because people tend to post TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read). While Lumens are for people to measure the output of light from a source or sources PAR is for plants which is achieved by concentrating a specific spectrum of luminosity to an area. I'm sure no one wants to here me talk about converting Lux's to a par ratio based on luminosity. It's just easier to say Lumens because the mathematical function works out to needing about 9000 - 15000 lumens per Sq. Ft. Which works out to somewhere like 400 - 800 par of 5,500k & 2,700k spectrum between like 300nm and 1000 nm spectrum of color. Lumens is just a way easier way of saying it even though it's incorrect because I promise you like 1/2 the people who grow don't have a very cohesive understanding of the mathematics of lighting output and how it's measured.
thanks alot for the compliment @JUNGLE_B4RNS, im growing each of these again as we speak! i got BDM and the CBD strain on day 8 today and the cc is in the water soaking!
Can you please rub your fingers on one of the small sugar leaves and tell what are the scents ? ๐Nice vid bro , but not even one word one the scent ๐ We can see the big buds like you , but we can't smell it true this vid ๐

She looks like she is doing good bud. What a branchy strain. Cant wait till she looks like when she fills out. Would you be able to share your thoughts on defoliation of outdoor autos?
Good luck man.
@CBD_Sweden, honestly i thought of the same name for that strain! its smelling like chemdog or some OG family strain... it just has that OH/Chem funk to it... so maybe Chem cookies?๐ป
