New beginning after a failed start with 4 sweet cherry kush.
1 Purple Cookie Kush and 2 Sweet Cherry Kush have already germinated and been potted.
1 Sweet Cherry Kush was potted today after it had germinated.
The plants are placed in Canna Terra Professional soil and are fertilized with the full Canna Terra fertilizer program.
Today I removed a few leaves so that the side shoots get more light. The next step will be topping next week, as soon as there is a little more space to the 5th node.
I topped it above the 5th node and removed a few leaves. They are now growing nicely and I don't even have to help them with LST.
The PCK has the best growth pattern. Two of the SCK are also growing very nicely, only 1 SCK has a disturbed growth pattern, let's see what becomes of it.
The plants seem to be doing very well. They are growing very nicely in width. I reduced the fertilizer a bit because there were a few small fertilizer spots on one or two leaves.
At the beginning of the week I stripped them of a lot of leaves, it seems to have done them good, they are now in even better shape than before.
I will probably switch to 12/12 lighting at the end of next week or the beginning of the following week and start flowering.
The SCK with the genetic defect and slow growth has left the tent and is now by a friend.
The remaining plants have now completely filled the tent and it is now really time to switch to flowering. Starting tomorrow, a 12/12 light rhythm will be used.
At the beginning of the week I switched to a 12/12 light rhythm. In that one week I had to set the lamps 3x higher because the plants stretch very quickly. You can already see the beginnings of flowers.
I now also fertilize according to the Canna scheme with Canna Boost.
The stems of the SCK turn really purple, but since that is not the case with the PCK, I think it is normal for the SCK.
You can clearly see the difference between the strains in their growth.
Every few days I have to hang the LEDs higher. The Sanlight is now running at 80% and the Spiderfarmer at 100% power.
At the end of next week I plan to do some defoliation/lollipopping.
There's not much to say, I think they're growing beautifully.
I reduced the dosage of the flowering fertilizer a little because the plants were getting fertilizer spikes on their leaves.
This week was the last time i have fertilized, and from next week onwards they will only be given a little Canna Cannazym. I think it will take them about 2 weeks to finish.
Last week the plants were only given Canna Cannazym and it is slowly coming to an end. Unfortunately I had to cut off 2 colas of the Purple Cookie Kush because I discovered bud rot.
I will finally harvest over the course of next week.
At the beginning of the week I harvested the top buds from the PCK.
I also harvested the top buds from the SCK on the far right.
The lower buds of both plants are still allowed to ripen.
The SCK in the middle is still allowed to stand a little longer, but will also be partially harvested next week.
At the beginning of the week I harvested the rest of the Purple Cookie Kush and the top colas of the other Sweet Cherry Kush.
The rest of the two Sweet Cherry Kush are allowed to ripen a little more.
