Fat monkey auto still stretching quite a bit. Trichome production on the main cola sugar leaves just started. Future #1 Auto ripening up, no more stretch. Again hot days, trying not to over- or underwater them.
More brown hairs on the flowers, some yellowing of the leaves. Shouldn’t be long now.
Weather is a bit bad during the second half of the week, lots of rain. Have them tucked in under the roof. Cut some of the browner leaves.
Colder night temps and some more rain brought out some purple in the future #1. Looking at the trichomes, the future #1 should be ready to harvest, but I‘m giving it the few more days to better weather.
Fat monkey has all milky trichomes, so might give it this whole week to get ready.
All of the plants have yellowed quite a bit now.
Disaster struck: nasty bud rot on the top colas. The very cold and rainy week took its toll. Harvested safely, so very little was saved is up for drying now. Might try again some other time.
Once it's dry I'll weigh the survivors.
Harvested rather hastily after some bud rot became visible. Played it save so everything close to the infected parts and anything not looking perfectly healthy was discarded. So only about 1/4 of the buds went into drying. Sad ending, but that's the learning curve and the dangers of outdoor growing I guess.
Quite nice growth and no major problems with pest or mold, even though the outdoor weather has been suboptimal during parts of the grow. Smells really fruity and sweet during the drying period. Quite a lot of trichome production.
Harvested because its neighbors had nasty bud rot, so I harvested maybe a couple of days to early - but better safe than sorry.
Drying now, smells very good. Will get back with pix and dried weight in a week.
Disaster struck: the bad weather led to some nasty bud rot on the the two auto future #1 plants. Saved, what could be saved, but they are harvested now. Third plant looks healthy still, but will also be harvested before the next bad weather comes in.
