andrewkeed I decided not to top the rest of plants. seems that the LST did a great job and almost all low branches are same level as the top and I released all of them after 10 days. will let them stretch now. Next week will add 100g of Guano/plant and on NYE will switch to flowering. All going better then expected. Stay close! A very merry Xmas to all growers!

andrewkeed Haven't done any more topping or FIMing . cleared some leaves and cut a few fan leaves on bottom. although I'm sorry I haven't done topping to all Tangerine, seems it worked perfect, but I'm switching to flowering on 31st so no time, anyway the LST did a wonderful job and most lower branches lift up to same level as top. will install the scrog net after NYE. andrewkeed Week 1 of flowering started good. had a bit of nutrient burn due to too much guano used as i changed pots from 12 to 10 L and used same amount (100g/plant)and it burned 1 completely and 2 have recovered by now but 90% had taco leaves. did a small defolation and installed scrog. going strong!

I usually take off all that's up to half of each branch before 12/12 and after 3 weeks of flowering a full defoliation on all plant. After the 3rd week defo, regarding how the plants grow thru the scrog and the amount of light and air they receive, I'm tracking the evolution on each plant and if I see nodes that haven't developed at least 50% as the others, I cut them off. Is all about monitoring the evolution of each plant. I do 3 steps (before 12/12,after 3rd week of flower and flush week)

Also cutting any lower branches that haven't reached the first line of the scrog net and then every week I trim all under the scrog that havent developed

I have noticed that in veg, when u defoliate and take off a leaf that had only one node above it, it will make that node grow and make 2 nodes from that, so cheers to defoliation :) works great indoors. Definitely recommended!!!
