The flowering nodes on your plants look to be absolutely amazing. You've done such an amazing job with this grow so far and I'm so excited to see how these plants finish up as well as to hear how they smoke. Best wishes my friend :D
@Johnnyronco, Thanks for the info! I was just talking to another grower about the QB lights. He just bought a kit. I think that makes 5+ growers on GD that use QB light set ups. I'd bet there are a lot more. Oh no! Peer pressure is forcing me into buying a kit!😱
@Quexos, my buddy has the 260w and he loves it I think it would do a 3x3 fine. I wouldn’t worry about building it as there are YouTube videos and also schematics online that can walk you through the whole process, only took me like 5 mins to actually construct it.
@Johnnyronco, Yep. That's the brand that I really like. There is a 260w model.
My tent is only 3ftx3ft. I figured that would be a good size. I'm a little worried about building it, but some of the other growers have confidence that it is an easy task.
Is this a DIY LED kit or did ou purchase one that was ready put of box? What brand? WHat size tent? I am asking because I am trying to figure out which LED light to buy.
@Johnnyronco,
I will be getting this because it will fit in a 2x2 and I can go bigger (tent wise) if I decide to later without having to buy a new light right away or at all assuming the company doesn't inflate numbers.

The HLG is a good light as far as I can tell from what people say about them and I do like the R spec with a boost in the red spectrum. I also assume they have a blue spec and/or a full spec light.
I chose to go BGL because in veg you want more blue, more red(far - red/infrared, along with red in general) in flower and this board has UVA. While UVA is only a theory right now I feel that the strains I am interested in growing may benefit from it as they are closer to the equator and/or up in the mountains. Also all I have to do is flip a switch not the entire light or have separate rooms for veg and flower but I am known to over think things...
I wouldn't follow this grow as I started REALLY late, made a couple mistakes and have no clue if I will be able to fully finish but I am giving it the best I can with what I have available. I just realized the greenhouse I bought blocks A LOT of light so I am sending that back. I just needed something to protect it from birds and what not but being as I am in the process of figuring out vegging inside that won't be a problem.
@Learning, https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/products/320w-xl-qb-v2-led-kit that’s the one I got, my advice is get the best light you can afford, with these leds you really can’t have too much light, there’s no issues with heat either. This light I have changed my growing immensely, it may be the best purchase I have made in the last ten years! Good luck and let me know what you get, I would love to follow your grow!
Great looking mass of buds! They look a lot more roundish than long colas.
I ended up buying the 260w kit. Thanks for the input. Your plants under those lights say it all.
Do you always use AN? If so, any thoughts on the multitude of flowering additives they offer? I plan on using Bud Candy, Big Bud and Overdrive when I flower, but I notice you just stick to the base nutrients A+B.
@Johnnyronco, Thanks! I've been using NFTG, but I had AN nutes from my very first grow, and I didn't want to waste them. I had a great yield that time, so I'm looking forward to using them again. That's why I was wondering about the additives. They are very expensive. Depending on the outcome of this grow, I'll use these up and maybe go back to NFTG.
Thanks about the lights! I'm really excited. I might buy another tent (4x4) for my new lights. I'd hate to let perfectly good lights sit around in a box!
@Quexos,thanks! Yea I only use AN grow for veg and bloom for flowering. I actually have never used the other products. I am a firm believer that it’s the temp, lights and humidity that have the greatest influence on your yield. But I know lots of ppl swear by those extra nutes. Some are pretty expensive too so they need to actually make a difference in your product to be worth it. Oh and good choice buying the light you won’t regret it!
Growing up with coco?if it is coco, do you provide the necessary flow so that the plants do not accumulate much salt while fertilizer and I admire your growth. With this genetics and these fertilizers, I will soon grow in a 40-liter container.
What a great looking plant! The first photo looks like christmas wrapping paper! You are going to have a nice yield on this plant. You have a ton of buds on top of that canopy!
GoGo QB boards!
That just looks awesome ! Very well trained plants the canopy is nice and even the flowers look big and dank . I'd say keep up the great work man ! Best of luck on you're race to the finish line with this grow and the many grow's in you're future .
-Happy Growing!
Those are some incredible shots of your buds! They look amazing!😵 They are going to pack more weight on in the next few weeks. This is the hardest part! They look ripe enough to pick, but that doesn't mean they are done.
BTW I bought that QB board. You were right. It was a breeze to put together.
