Royal Gorilla - RQS - rDWC

7/30/2024 Moved the two strong seedlings into the final 4x4 rDWC setup. Currently no water in the buckets or reservoir, allowing a bit of drying of the seedling plugs and stabilization of the environment before introducing first water and nutrient solution. Total system volume: 12 gallons. Left seedlings covered for a few hours after transplant to reduce transplant shock. 7/31/2024 Filled the system with nutrient water in the morning with about 7 gallons of water to keep the water level low. Return from reservoir for each bucket sprays at one side of the net pot so the LECA is wetted, but not drenched by a top drip. Slowly bringing the environmental temp down as the plants take hold in an effort to remove space heater. VPD between 0.8-1.1. 8/1/2024 Both plants look to be passed the transplant shock and appear to be growing. Lights are currently set at 25%, DLI around 18-20 for both plants at 18 hour interval. Using strictly distilled water in the humidifier seems to be far more effective at maintaining humidity! 8/3/2024 Changed lights to vegetative setting and increased to 30% - DLI around 22. 8/5/2024 Both plants have roots growing out of the net pot. Not quite to the water in the buckets yet, but should be there in the next few days. Both plants are looking strong and healthy! Plant A is showing slightly different development sights from Plant B, maybe two different phenotypes? Either way, both are healthy and should be exploding in growth here over the next few days!
