10/20/2024 The way the fade is progressing in the plant, it might be about a week to harvest at this point. Will keep an eye on the trichomes closely to monitor. Targeting about 10-15% amber. Starting to prune some of the larger faded fan leaves that are reaching necrosis. The smell is incredibly pungent! Anytime I open the tent my entire basement smells like fresh cannabis! Removed under lighting right as lights shut off for the night. The main lights are set to 80% for today. 10/21/2024 Seeing a lot more potential seeds than last week popping up on the left side of the plant. Still no signs of nanners anywhere, so I am continuing to doubt self-pollination here. Regardless, there is a lot of flower material and I will process what is seeded! The smell is getting more and more potent as the days continue. Changing slightly to a bit more diesel and pine than fruity, very slight chocolate or sweet notes. Flowers are extremely dense and compact, hopefully super resinous! Raised lights as high as they can go as soon as they shut off this evening. Reducing the lights to 75% for tomorrow and may continue reducing as needed or maintain the set point. Trichomes 95-98% cloudy by visual inspection with a 30x loupe. 10/22/2024 Pruning faded and slightly necrotic leaves. Most of them are ready to come off and require very little force to remove. Most of the leaves I am pulling off are covered in trichomes with large amounts of amber present, starting to build my dry sift storage up! The topmost flowers and sugar leaves are continuing to mature, but no signs of amber on the top flowers yet. Still seeing about 98% cloudy around the top. Lower canopy (with removed under lighting) have some amber popping up on the flowers around 1%, the lower fan leaves are around 15% amber at this point. Reducing lights to 70% for tomorrow. 10/23/2024 Amber trichomes are showing up all over the plant now. Fan leaves are about 10-15% amber all around the plant. Flowers are looking to be about 100% cloudy at this point. Harvest will be this weekend. Reducing lights to 60% for tomorrow. 10/24/24 Reduced lights to 50% for tomorrow. 10/25/24 Once the lights turn off today I will be turning lights off for the next 2 days or so to give the plant 24-48 hours of darkness before cut and hang. Pumped off the entire reservoir and bucket inside the tent. Replaced with 4 gallons of pH-adjusted water.
