I saw the first tiny roots after 24h, I then put theme in these small 350ml „pots“. I tried to adjust the lighting so that the temperature stays below 30 degrees Celsius and so that the humidity is in range 60-75%. It was not always possible, but I tried. I also moved them around quite a bit and put them under different light sources (4200k LED, Greenception GC Pure 60W and on my windowsill. Maybe that was too much stress and they could have gotten bigger by now. I‘ll remember that for my next time.

I repotted them last week in 15l pots, which didn’t seem to bother them as they continued growing normally. I also added some mycorrhizal fungi for the roots. The plants now spend their whole day on the balcony where they get 5-6 hours of direct sunlight. Let’s see what that amount of light can do. Unfortunately, one plant died earlier when my light bulb fell down due to my poor engineering skills, which is unfortunate. However, the other ones weren’t harmed. By the end of the week, the first signs of flowers have shown up:)

Nothing special to say here. It was not that sunny this week and they didn’t grow that much, but it’s alright :)

Strange week, extreme weather conditions in both directions: we had some really hot days but also 2 heavy raining days. The plants are looking good though. I’m looking forward to their journey!

No more growth in height happened anymore, but the buds started to increase in size a little. Also, my biggest plant slowly developed yellowish leaves. By now my mother is complaining about the smell unfortunately😔. In my opinion, they smell really fruity, especially the Gorilla plants. Black widow has herbal notes as well.

The yellowing of the leaves continued. I increased the amount of flower nutrients and I hope they can turn back green again. My Black Widow will find a new home today at one of my parents friends’ garden where it will get more sun, I am looking forward to how it is going to grow! I will give this man a summary of what I have learned so far about the nutrients I have been giving and some general stuff because he has never grown weed before, just like me:)

This week was very sunny and the buds grew a little and developed even more trichomes! I realised that they are definitely done growing in height and are now solely focusing on the buds. They also smell very good and fruity. I noticed some light nutrient burn with yellowing leaves, but I have no idea what they were missing and/or what I was giving them too much. I hope that the buds keep fattening up a little as we‘re already 10 weeks in, but if not that’s okay as well. I‘m guessing around 10-15g per plant. Also, the low stress trained plant has visible smaller buds compared to the untrained one. I guess I didn’t do everything as good as it could have been (it‘s still my first grow :), so the untrained plant could handle my mistakes better than the one I put through even more stress. Also, the big GG got around half an hour more sunlight each day as it was positioned a little better on the balcony.

This week really felt like autumn as the temperatures dropped significantly and it started to rain heavily. I assume that the cold is one of the reasons for the purple leaves. The trichomes are still transparent, so I guess they still need some time. Next week will be full of sun again and I hope they can finish soon! Also, I dried a test bud in just 4 days, with a little help of the oven and my girlfriend tested it with her friends. Turns out it was a rough smoke and the overall experience was a little disappointing. I told them to wait another 2 months before they try my plants again so they still have time to ripen, dry properly and cure for some time. I hope this will elevate the experience.

This week I had to water them in the bathtub because my mother didn’t enjoy the runoff water on the balcony floor- understandable. The leaves on the Gorilla Glues are turning even more purple, I really enjoy that. Else, there is not much else to say as nothing special happened during this week, just a little bit of bud growth. I found the first peace of mould a few days later. For some reason I wasn’t that sad because I was not sure if I would be able to identify it if it happened but I luckily did. Now I know what to loon for in the future:)

This week I found a spot of mould on the bigger Gorilla and therefore harvested everything that could be infected soon. I then did some bud washing and the buds are currently drying in our cellar. Now, the Gorilla looks like it is missing it’s underpants. All plants definitely need some more time as the trichomes still are mostly transparent. The breeder says they should have been ready to harvest around three weeks ago, but I don’t mind having them around me a little longer:)

This week has been relatively cold for the planties so they didn’t develop es much. They are really old by now and I think I will harvest them after next week, so they can enjoy 7 more days in good sun. They seem pretty mild resistant and I am impressed by the amount of bud they produce relative to their leaf mass. Still waiting for some brown trichomes.

Happy Harvest Day!

This plant definitely produced the most bud material compared to my Gorillas, but it also took more time and it was still not finished when I had to harvest it. If it was planted earlier, that would have been great!

I left this plant outside even though it has become pretty cold (it‘s October in Germany). I should have harvested earlier because I lost more than half of the plant to mould. I could have expected that with a relative humidity of more than 70% during the last few days.
