7-8-24 PGC broke soil. Pineapple OG was about a day later. Waited a few more days for the top punch to pop... Ended up growing upside down! Taproot was sticking up out of the soil and just about dried out. Did some surgery on it and flipped it around. Looked just about dead, figured it was gone but hung onto it anyway and kept spritzing every day or so. Over the course of the next week it ended up surviving.
7-19-24 Plants grew their first set of leaves. PGC is a bit taller than I'd like and doesn't exactly want to stand up straight
7-27-24 Transferred the seedlings to 2 gal pots and put in the veg closet under the 50W LED. Growth was stunting in the big tent even in the shade. On the plus side the spacing of the first two nodes is extremely tight on all 3. Transplant went OK. Would have preferred them to get a little bigger but they had enough roots to make it pretty clean. Used some mycorhizzal fungi for the transplant. Kind of forgot about it when I did the trop punch and just incorporated it into the top of the soil instead of at the root base. Buried the PGC pretty deep during the transplant to keep it up straight and cut down on some of the height. Left the soil levels low. Wanted to leave about 2-3 inches for topdressing as the plants grow. Starting with the light at 28". I think this is a safe distance but I haven't use this one in a while so I'll watch the plants over the next few days pretty closely
Soil mix for this one is:
1/3 - Ocean Forest
1/3 - Earthworm casings
1/3 - Happy frog
3 tbsp/gal gaia green 4-4-4 dry fertilizer
