I think we ve succeeded both plants show new growth . Ice cream cake is shooting leaves out of buds and gelato is growing from the base.

@Psilocubensis, you can leave some flowers. It worked on these two. Especially well when there are still some white hairs on them, they are not fully matured.
I tried clones but they did not make it. They ve rooted but did not develop.
