capsicum Seeds in that moist soil, waiting 48 hours, little seedling looks healthy in the world. The simplest method is still the best.
The seed was a bonus with my first order at RQS in April. My expectations for the strain and yield are therefore completely shaped by surprise.

capsicum One week old, third pair of leaves appearing, seems like a good start.
With 4cm the appearance is pretty compact, more indica-like than suspected.
The seedling is off center as I'm going for a LST with 4 main buds this time

capsicum After two weeks on vacation, it shot up in the air. So it was pressed down to the ground. This grow is not only supposed to end with a big headbud but also to try for the first time to get a nicer yield with training.

capsicum Streeeeetch.
The flowering is going strong and the smell has become intense enough to overload the activated carbon filter. The whole grow box has now moved into the empty garage. It's just too uncomfortable in the house.
But the LST is working. The first branches are shooting out even faster than the main bud.

capsicum Stretch continues, buds everywhere. A few popcorn buds have gone to compost so that better air circulation can happen.
When I compare it to the Quick One, the 50g limit is really tight this time.
capsicum Just pure mass. The buds are getting fat and the pistils are gradually changing color.
The smell is now ridiculously strong. My activated carbon filter doesn't stand a chance anymore. The smell is also clearly surrounding the garage. It's definitely not a strain for growing in countries where it's illegal.
But there's still time until harvest; the first look at the trichomes still shows clear heads without end.
Unfortunately, a huge colony of fungus gnats has settled in. I've added nematodes to the soil for a week now and I'm fighting the flying adult pests in the air with a pretty good electric fly swatter.

capsicum Autumn is slowly approaching. Flowers and leaves indicate an upcoming harvest.
The nematodes have done a great job, and the miserable plague of fungus gnats is over.

capsicum Remarkable appearance, delicious smell.
But the microscope says it needs a few more days.

capsicum It can happen so quickly, bud rot in the thick buds. Annoying.
Now I've also had the fun of wet trimming. Everything is hung up in the net to dry, and I hope it will still be enjoyable.
Not the first time that RQS's free seeds have mutations, I had one mutate again with my last 3 free seeds as well. Strange... But it didn't seem to be a problem, looks great!
