White Widow Fast retains the qualities that have made the original White Widow such a hit with smokers and growers alike for so long yet manages to shorten its flowering time by a week. The South Indian and Brazilian heritage produces white, frosty, knock-out buds that have become a by-word for fast-acting, hard-hitting weed. Buds appear to have been dipped in sugar crystals and have a beautiful smooth smoke. Yields of this high-THC indica/sativa strain are decent at 350 - 450 gr/m2 in 6 - 7 weeks of flowering. Outdoors and greenhouses are also suitable environments due to it being ready to harvest during September in northern latitudes. The effect is powerful and hits in the head at first before evolving into a relaxing body-stone. This wwf was germinated on the 6th of December by being placed directly from the pack into a 7cm pot of John innes seedling and cutting soil and lightly saturated with activera, she then surfaced around 4 days later, she will be veging under a 300w led and I will be flowering under a 600w hps, I'm going to be using biobizz light mix soil as well as there line of nutrients for this grow, I will be topping her and trying to get in as much lst as possible as I will be veging her between 8- 10 weeks

So i have missed a week on these updates due to Christmas but everything's back to normal now, I have just transplanted into 5l pots still using biobizz lightmix as planned but I am not using the led to veg so she is now under a 400w hps, and I am feeding bio grow at a dose of 0.5ml/l. I plan on topping her soon too so that i get get started on the plant training but all seems to be going well so far!

So onto week 4, I have topped her at the third set of nodes and I have bent the main stem over slightly to begin training, she has become quite sturdy already though so that was a bit awkward but will be training the side branches too, to create as many bud sites as possible,I have trimmed a few of the fans off to allow more light penetration so hopefully she will thicken up nicely

So onto week 5, this little one is comig along nicely so far, starting to get a bit bushy now so will be tidying her up again a little to let more light through again. I will be transplanting for a final time in the next day or two and then she still has a couple of weeks to go before she gets the flip so hoping she thickens up nicely and develops plenty of bud sites

So I have changed things around a little now, I have transplanted to a 20l pot, but I have moved her under my 600w hps to finish veging.. i have tidyed her up a bit at the bottom so she focuses more towards the top of the plant.. she has 6 main colas so far but training seems to be coming along pretty well and she is creating more sites so I'm looking forward to seeing her progress during the next couple of weeks and how seeing how she fills out when she gets the flip!

So we are at the end of week 7 for this update.. after these pics were taken she went into a 24hour dark period and has now been put into flower so will do that update at the end of the week! Week 7: as you can see from the difference since my last update she has filled out nicely, she looks Healthy, nice sturdy branching.. tying down to reposition branches has because a challenge now but she is still pretty even anyway so I'm not really worried about that at the moment.. I was going to let her go another week atleast before going into flower but because of how much she has filled out aswell as a couple of the other plants in there I was getting a little worried that it might become over crowded once they hit the flowering stretch So that's why I have made this the last week of veg, and am pretty excited to see how she get on!

Week 8: week 1 of 12/12.. progress from this white widow fast is still coming along well.. her main tops haven't really stretched up a great deal during this first week of flower but from being trained the rest of her side branches are starting to catch up a bit quicker now and she has created plenty of bud sites.. I have done some tidying up at her lower 3rd to avoid wasted energy but she could still do with a bit of a trim for not light penetration so will do that in the next few days.. being a fast flowering strain I'm looking forward to seeing how much she fills out in a short period but she already smells quite strong so fingers crossed

So at the end of week 2 of flower now, I have tidied her up for a final time now, maybe have a couple more fans to take off but besides that I am finished with the training now, she has grown out pretty even and has nice tight bud formation going up her stems so I am happy with how she has turned out so far, she is starting to get pretty smelly too. I have introduced bloom now at quarter strength to help kick things off a bit but she still stretching a bit. I have also added a top dressing of dolomite lime to the pot, so I'm looking forward to seeing how she gets on now

So we are 21 days into 12/12 with this update, I think the stretch has almost stopped now.. bud sites are starting to fill out nicely.. and is starting to get a bit frosty now too. She is looking a bit bushy though now so probably should have tidied her up a little bit more but I'm pretty happy with how she has turned out so just hoping she fatten's up nicely now. A couple of the girls in this tent have fans that keep stretching up to the light so I have dropped it down 2 inches and will adjust again if necessary

So d28 of 12/12 for this little widow, this one I'd say is about halfway through now so not long to go really, she isn't as frosty as the others but she is coming along well so hoping these last few weeks go as smoothly as the rest and she fattens up nicely

D35 of 12/12... not really much to update, This lil widow is starting to fade out a bit now, buds are getting tighter and a bit fatter and she is starting to get a bit frostier now, being a fast flowering I can't imagine she is going to have too long to go so going to start checking her trichs after the end of this next week and will probably start flushing her after that

I was gonna have a bash at this myself !! Seeing this has just made my mind up '-' I'm buying 3 beans but they'll have to wait until the room empties as Regina: growdiaries.com/diaries/24384-meet-regina-quot-r-g-a-quot-my-first-auto & Amy are now stretching out quite a bit '-' But not to complain as that's what I want

@DanDaman2515, personally I like this plant quite a bit! Has the smell of the original widow, but this one is ideal for someone used to growing autos I guess. I haven't grown her without training her but she stayed nice and short and quite compact at the same time.. she flowers almost as quick as an auto depending on veg time, she is quite stealthy to be fair but the smell can become really potent quite quickly during flower, my girlfriend sufferers with arthritis so smokes mostly for pain management and she is quite the fan of this strain too! It's deffo a good grow though. Another seedsman strain I would highly recommend though is strawberry banana grape! She smells amazing, tastes amazing, looks amazing and is such a pleasure to grow, and im yet to come across anyone who is disappointed with that strain! Deffo another one to look at!
