Very interesting strain from Barney’s. Let’s see what kind of pheno can we pin from this batch. I have seen some crazy colorful ones. Terpene profile should also be super complex. Just think about it Gelato, zkittlez, layer cake, crazy mix.
All of them doing well. They rooted root roots fast. And their new 8x8x8 pots too. I’m very careful with watering since there is pythium in the environment. I’m sterilizing everything with hypochlorous acid. They also get ta trikologic from day one. Roots are white, fuzzy and healthy so far so fingers crossed 🤞 it stays that way.

Growing perfectly. I could already transfer them to final pots. But their flowering tent is occupied by drying gelatos. Couple more days and we are on to the next one !

Finally I rectified my problems with roots. All thanks to trichoderma. I chose t.a trikologic.
I think something’s wrong with canna and plagron coco lately. They used to contain natural trichoderma. It either did not have enough or was stored improperly and there was not enough to promote white beautiful lush roots. Now everything is back to what I was used to and fuzzy thick white roots are bursting from pots bottoms. 🤗🤗🤗

Moved the girls to 7l pots. About 5 l of medium coco/perlite 70/30.
They will be rooting for a couple of days with gentle light around 400 ppfd.

Girls are stretching and creating budsites. Never had 16 of them in 5x5 and it is a bit too much. I have trouble controlling humidity.
It’s already apparent they are taking their time and that it is more than 8 week strain. Officially it should be done in around 10 weeks.
Getting chunky and frosty. Some very nice specimen in these. Lovely terps and I feel they are going to be a looker. Some colors are already poppin. And they still have a lot to go.
Some huge colas on two of them. I need to run them again. This strain is a true champion. Yield, looks, resin, terps everything on point. I don’t really mind that she needs some extra time. 9 weeks minimum.

Removed one top bud of vf2 and g3 due to botrytis. But addition of particulate filters and uvc lamp seems to have helped a lot. It’s been very humid this time around. Even now in the late stage of flower it’s high 60%
Barney’s knocked it out of the park with this one. This is hands down the most beautiful, strong, resistant, heavy yielding plant that I had so far. The huge colas are made of rock hard, rainbow 🌈 cloured nugs covered in tons of trichomes. It’s hard to describe with words. Moreover she had no problems with mold, botrytis even though the humidity reached 75 % sometimes, because of the crazy humid summer and i was very worried for these enormous flower clusters. In addition to that I had at least 3 or 4 different phenos in 12 seeds but all of them spectacular in they own regard. I am keeping at least 3 of them for future grows.
Highly, highly recommended.
