Up pot to 7 gallon fabric with a blend of Gaia Green Living soil, perlite, worm castings, GG 4-4-4, dolomite lime, Bokashi Gro-pro, Xtreme Gardening Mykos. Water with aerated tap water. Topped to 6 main branches, LST to get a flat canopy
Topped dressed with Gaia Green Power Bloom along with everything else I mentioned before. Removed branches all the way to the tip and sent into flower. Week 1 flower underway
Week 2 flower and still performing LST as they stretch out. Hooked up the drip but still do a thorough watering time to time. Using a digital moister meter to easily adjust the drip time.
End of Week 3 flower and stretch has finished up everything looking good. Death Bubba genetics are strong and resilient. Also using predator mites and nematodes
Beginning of week 4 and did a real good defoliation to open up all the bud sites to good light, slowly been raising ppfd and lights are now sitting at 750 ppfd
Week 5 flower, and after stretch, and not paying close enough attention, I managed to allow the girls to stretch up unchecked, and get to 1650 ppfd. Rookie move through summer activities with the kids, but noticed discolouration and got the ppfd corrected to around 650-800 throughout the tent. Growth slowed down for a bit, but now seems to be picking up again. Always something lol
Week 6 flower and the girls seem to have recovered from last week’s neglect and light intensity, but I’m sure the end result will be affected. The leaves also got a bit beat up. Watered in the final top dressing and did another round of selective defoliation. Moved the tops around a bit to open up the lower bud sites.
Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.
Week 8 flower, watering until the end. No more top dressing or fish shit. Just the same de chlorinated tap water, not ph’d or filtered that I’ve been using since the beginning. Comes out the tap with a ph of 7 and less than 15ppm tds. The soil takes care of everything.
Week 09 flower and still just watering until the end. Removed all leaf that had a long petiole, but the top three of main branches. Leaves are turning a dark purple and the buds a purple hue to them. The bud are good and frosty with the classic death bubba smell.
W10F and the end is near. The bud sites are small and internodes are spaced far apart. I neglected them and let the light intensity get too high during stretch. They are pretty frosty though. Fade has started and they are displaying nice colours
